Enormous property with multiple pools - each with their own vibe. Great entertainment options all day and night. Gorgeous and super clean. Skip the sales pitch - you'll waste an entire day of your trip. Book restaurants as a soon as possible - they fill up quick and the buffet food is just OK. Great family place, not sure if I'd go if just adults.

Don’t waste your time or money! This place looks great and some of the reviews sound great but I will tell you it is all a scam to try to sell you a diamond elite membership and get you hocked in there pyramid scheme. This probably sounds over dramatic but trust me you will feel ripped of. There where some great moments but they where far outweighed by the bad ones. I really enjoyed the amount of pools and water park. They say you need a grand pass to get into the water park but you don’t. The worst part about this place is the meals. Unless you are a diamond elite member it is impossible to get a reservation anywhere. So every night you will end up waiting 1 hour+ just to be seated. For breakfast and lunch you can normally find a place to eat quickly but never for dinner. Also a lot of the best restaurants are reservation only. Anything not reservation only ranged from good to down right terrible. After complaining we where able to get two reservations and the food was amazing. Also if you have food allergies don’t come here.(My family has two gluten allergy’s) It was very confusing to try and navigate where my family could and couldn’t eat because the reservation only places where the only ones with good gluten free options. Besides the food I did enjoy the golf cart shuttles (when you didn’t have to wait 15 minutes for them). The app for this place is also pretty good (when it works). The app for the hotel is always really slow and sometimes it will never load. “But a lot of these problems would be solved if you became a diamond elite member” You get personal shuttles around the resort, cabana seating, first access to reservations and more. But from what I’ve heard the program is basically a pyramid scheme where you invite your friends and you get resort credit. I could go on and on about the bad times at this resort but I will just leave you with this. Take your money and go on a nice seven day cruise, you will be much happier

Awesome place, did the walking tour, had received a day pass, and masage. Pool is excellent, beach is sweet but windy, outdoor pool Olympic size, beautiful and clean, awesome service wonderful atmosphere, very family oriented. Packages need to b purchased to have the best full experience. Guaranteed you get what you pay for. Clientele wonderful and friendly, great abundance of wonderful and happy staff, excellent drinks, food, and game room, have a sweet nightclub seen, movie and show theater, gym, spa, indoor pool and 3 hot tub. Very worth it.

Wonderful overall. It was spring break week, so resort was very full and therefore had some delays in service, but nothing bad. Lots of walking so if you have any mobility issues, make sure you use the shuttle services (big golf carts). Kid friendly, water park is pretty impressive for a resort. Rest of the pools were nice as well and each had a different vibe. Beach itself is nice looking, but the rotting seaweed at this time of year ruined it. So if you're more of a beach person vs pool, then make sure you check their beach report. The spa is very good, recommend it.

I cannot even begin to express how wonderful this resort is. Besides it just being a fabulous place to vacation, with lovely accommodations, the staff are absolutely wonderful. We have been down here for a week vacationing with our entire extended family. During our stay, my 6 year old nephew had a horrific 13 minute seizure and we messaged Ever, our butler. He has been absolutely amazing this whole trip but he went so far above and beyond getting medical personnel to the room immediately and arranged for an ambulance to get my nephew to the hospital. It didn’t stop there….While my nephew was at the hospital, he arranged to have their room filled with balloons and surprises for when he returned, and even bought him a stuffed Picachu to make him feel better. The level of pure love & human kindness showed by this amazing man brought us to tears. He has checked in with us all day every day since the event. He is truly an amazing human being. We will for sure be coming back to enjoy this amazing resort and amazing employees.

We travelled to Moon Palace the Grand for Christmas (Dec-22-Dec-27) - 2 adults and 2 kids. Good Resort is BEAUTIFUL!. Well maintained, lush greenery and helpful directional signage Rooms are clean - Always leave a tip for housekeeping. - If they have mopped the floor, be extra cautious as the floors are extremely slippery. Waterpark - If you traveling with kids (3-12), look no further - this is the place. Gr8 fun - we spent a greater part of our time here. The lifeguards keep a tab on all water themed activities. Playroom - Great playroom for kids - Entertainment+snacks+activity area. It's safe and well maintained, They do sanitize ever so often. Vegetarian options are available for breakfast, lunch and dinner - though it may get a little repetitive. Guest relations were helpful to secure a microwave oven for our room - We did follow up multiple times, but I guess they were swamped because of crowds. Happy that we did get it, my 3 yr old enjoyed hot food on demand! Bad Beach - Muddy & Seaweed. The water is very tempting, if you don't mind taking a sand-bath. Restaurants - Download the Moon Palace app even before you travel, look up the menu and soon after you check-in, reserve a table at restaurant of your choice. Not all restaurants need reservations - all the good/popular ones do :). The guest relations option to book is a "hit and miss" service. Ugly Don't walk into free resort credits or timeshare presentation traps, It's a waste of time. Conveyance - Golf cart service isn't efficient and you end up spending most time waiting or walking. Some families we met, tipped them good when they checked-in and got the drivers numbers. Tip: Ask for a property closer to the lobby, this is where most of the dining/activities happen. Reservations at restaurant - We were looking for reservation @ Agra, but Agra being the popular restaurant - reservations are hard to come by. If this is one of the main criteria (Indian cuisine), please look at other resorts as its nearly impossible to get a reservation. Restaurants: Holiday season + Crowds = wait time at restaurants. > Early dinners are a good way of bypassing the crowd. > Tipping well gets you better/faster service.

Was really looking forward to a much needed vacation. The Grand at the Moon Palace looked like an excellent choice. The property itself is beautiful. The working staff at the resort such as housekeeping and waitstaff were some of the most polite and helpful people. Despite a language barrier. Upon arrival we were informed at the front desk that are reservation has been moved to a different resort. They said the resort we are moving you to is much better and nicer resort. But this is not what we signed up for and paid for 6 months in advance. We had numerous friends staying on property which we wanted to be around. It's kind of hard to do that when you're at a different resort, 30 minutes away. When I refused to be moved to a separate resort, they gave us two double beds. Mind you we signed up for the honeymoon package which included so many amenities. It was going to be hard to get through. We were told at the front desk when we checked in on Wednesday. We would be moved into our King room on Thursday or Friday. No such phone call ever came. When I asked the desk they said it would be on Saturday when I finally went down on Friday to find out. They never once contacted us about any of our honeymoons extra amenities Overall, it was a very nice vacation considering we got to be with our friends on property. I will be sure if I ever stay here again I will not pay the extra money for any type of package. If it wasn't for seeing a concert on property. I will never stay here again. I feel terrible for the workers there. And talking to many of them there. Very little. And really depend on tips from Americans who they provide services to. Luckily I'm the type of person I do observe the service I'm provided into accordingly. Many of the staff would even seek me out to say hello and thank you for my generosity. That just goes a show awkwardly they are truly treated.

I enjoyed the time I've spent here. It's a very active family vibe which is why it gets so busy during vacation months. The food was good in most places but was uneven quality at times. The service is friendly and helpful. Be aware they have a strong marketing department and will offer you free excursions to get you to listen to their presentation. This is not a bad thing. If you're willing to spend a couple hours for free tours for your family. Overall it's a great experience.
