What can I say about this place. Severely underrated. I'm shocked how it's not as busy as some of the lesser quality joints around 5th Avenue. I've been in Mexico for almost 2 months and I've travelled the world so believe me when I say I can spot a talented chef/menu. I walked in and asked the waiter Benjamin to bring me 3 of the chefs recommendations and boy he did not dissapoint. The Aguachile 93 what superbly presented and flavours delicately balanced. The oyster tacos might not be your cup of tea (they're battered and fried) but unlike the versions of fried seafood tacos you get around here, they've kept it light with plenty of punch to cut through the richness. Lastly we have Lucas Dog! It's a hot dog but not as you know it. Caramelised onions compliment the pulled pork beautifully and just a little heat and citrus to balance out the richness. Amazing! I simply had to try the dessert and they've nailed the chocolate Brownie with vanilla ice cream and passion fruit coulis. Perfectly balanced and a portion size that isn't designed for Americans! Seriously impressed ? Oh and all of that for around 600 pesos. Maybe too much for locals but the best bang for your buck around Playa Del Carmen.

The food was delicious! We recommend the Aguachile verde, super fresh, tasty and many subtle and well combined flavours. Bonus: cool vibes and playlist!

Hidden gem, I was looking for some tacos and couldn't have found a better place. Staff are nice and Michael told me all that I needed to know about the menu and favourites bites to try. And btw, don't forget the salsa, some of the best you can find around here.

One of my new favorite spots for quality Mexican seafood. First of all the decor and ambiance are a vibe. The menu is not extensive, but what I’ve had of it is on point and affordable. The service is also good. And it’s not in the center of tourism so it’s more of a local experience.
