★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even though most dishes had a good taste, the restaurant has a small menu with very few options. 2/3 choices of appetizers and 3/4 choices of main course unless you’re vegan. Ridiculously small portions compared with Mexico and Tulum. Relatively overpriced. Restaurant was empty and far from lively despite the nice setting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were staying at the hotel and had breakfast, lunch and dinner here. Food is a little slow to arrive but great when it does. Cappuccinos are better than back home in Italy (albeit sometimes inconsistent). Guacamole is great as were all the other dishes we tasted. Service really polite, helpful and the right amount of attentive!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Out of all the restaurants in the area we had the best food at Moro. The iron-skillet octopus was fresh and delicious! Prices above average compared to other places nearby having double the price and inedible food. The waiter was very nice and attentive. Nice ambiance and setup. Would highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here twice on separate trips. Had a breakfast and lunch and loved both. The scenery must be making everything that much more delicious and flavourful. Habitas must be one of the finest hotels in the area. Amazing staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We tried Moro couple of times for breakfast and lunch during our stay at the Habitas. Their chia pudding was fresh and delicious. The omelette with raw mushrooms was also excellent. Later in the day we tried different tequila based cocktails all of which were fantastic. Service is fast and very friendly: Unfortunately we did not have a chance to try it for dinner but sure will do next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dinning at Moro is an unforgettable experience. Since you walk through the jungle setting of the hotel and arrive to the restaurant, you’ll be instantly amazed by all the details. The menu is well thought with locally sourced ingredients and for that reason the options are not too wide. Nevertheless, we had the steak, the shrimp and finished with the cacao cake and loved everything, from flavor to presentation.
It’s not cheap, but you won’t regret it. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simply outstanding - the best restaurant on the Tulum beach strip by far. We went three times during our stay. The setting is beautiful (beach front amidst the trees) and the food even better. We particularly loved the beetroot hummus and the pork belly. You can also have two veggie sides as a main which works very well. Good wine selection and gorgeous cocktails. The service was without fault. We couldn’t recommend it more highly - it is extremely good value for money!
