Hi everyone I wanted to warn you that many times we make the mistake of believing that our motorcycle is in good hands just because the place is clean and they give notes and speak very professionally. It happened to me in "Moto Xtreme Motorcycle Workshop", located at Nuevo León 340, Cuajimalpa, 05000 Mexico City, CDMX One day my italika's band broke and they changed it and told me things about my bike that were wrong, but nothing worrying. However, a couple of months later the same thing happened again and since it was the closest workshop I had, I left them to be reviewed again, that was on July 31 and they told me that there were several things to change etc etc. My bike is an italika and I think it shouldn't cause much of a problem. The parts took 2 weeks to arrive and the mechanic also had an accident and they brought another. Finally I understood and they gave it to me a month later, but for this they charged me 3,600 pesos for parts and 1,200 pesos for labor. Leaving to pick it up, I did not go even 200 meters when the bike turned off. I thought it was because of everything they changed for what I follow my route, but in a 2 km course, the bike stopped 7 times. I dialed the establishment to complain and they tell me: "How strange, we did not turn off" so I took them back and the next day it was already "fixed" but the same thing happened to me the next day. Total, I wrote to the owner of the premises, saying that then I would take her to another place where they do know how to compose and she says that the guarantee would be lost. Finally, today I went for it after 2 more weeks, in total 6 weeks my motorcycle stayed and without composing it or anything, I took them away to take it to someone who knows about motorcycles since, according to him, the model has a fault (it is a italika gs150) that had never had any electrical problem and as soon as they touched it, they broke it down. Imagine turning in a job without 100% testing, imagine it going off in the middle of nowhere, at night, or worse, going off on a fast middle lane, but apparently they don't care about the motorcyclist's safety. . I put this to you to help me share and you will not fall into the same situation. Why if it takes 6 weeks with an italika (which I had to take away because they didn't know how to compose it) What is expected of someone with a bigger motorcycle? Bad experience... I took it in December to its general maintenance service, but just yesterday the bearings of the rear tire cracked, it is supposed to be part of the service to check those parts, that's why I almost had an accident, be careful where they lead his motorcycle!
