★ ★ ★ ★ ★ this gym is owned by one of the best humans in the world. you can see how the place was built with love and care by looking at the details and the layout. totally recommend this place as a spot to visit if your in Zipolite. Try that juice bar too haha. Amalng!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zipolite is a special place. I've visited several times, but the closest gym has always been at least 30 min away. I came across this place yesterday and it just opened with a huge, open space and several classes. It's in the middle of everything and just a block from the beach, not to mention extremely affordable. I signed up for the week and talked with the owner who was super chill. Gym equipment is coming soon everybody! I can't wait to get back in there next month while I'm here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an incredible space! A tropical rooftop with plants and wooden machines, juice bar and a rich daily class schedule! Yoga is really the best in the area and the staff are just great! A must for everyone visiting Zipolite! THANK YOU GUYS!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Move Gym, Zipolite is the best workout spot to go to. It is spacious, open, and most of all, has a friendly staff who listens to your needs and concerns. I would definitely recommend them if you’re in town and need a place to go work out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most amazing experience! When my husband and I had last visited Zipolite, we felt the one thing missing was a gym. We enjoy stretching and lifting weights as a daily routine and now, in Zipolite, we have found the perfect spot. Move Gym. Upstairs, catching a nice trade wind, they have pulled together everything needed for lifting and cardio. Kept very clean, with great trainers and friendly people, Move Gym, completed a great vacation. We will definitely come back for a longer stay. Thanks!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little concept of an open jungle-like gym with wooden weights.
They do classes here and you’ll find a giant aerial silk hanging in the middle with the kind of height that’s hard to come by even in big cities.
The wooden weights are sufficient for most of the things unless you’re doing squats and deads with 3+ plates; I did some cleans and snatches with them on an Olympic barbell and there wasn’t any wobbling or imbalance.
Big plus is that 1 hour session is just 100 pesos so props for not ripping off tourists with 250+ (like other places in coastal Oaxaca do) who just want to get a quick workout in.
Overall, this is obviously not a real gym and only has 10-30% of equipment but with a bit of creativity you can get plenty of work in.
