★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing fancy space with style, sunset view, the right music, attention and food knowledge like nowhere else in Puerto. Kashi told us about every dish, the special ingredients, where it came from, gave us a mezcal tasting and ritual at the end and tended to all our needs. Very unusual and delicious food too. Small portions nos of Japanese Mexican mix, so you don't end up overstuffed but we'll filled.
Would definitely recommend it as an Experience rather a mere dinner to anyone. We went in low season so barely any clients and lots of attention for us, which was great. They have AC too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You tell the chef what ingredients you don’t like and they bring out tapas plates. Amazing service and farm-to-table dishes make for the finest dining experience in Puerto Escondido.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice selection of wine, good view for the sunset, food was well done. I felt Maria’s passion for the food and mezcal. Bonus: you can buy some nice wines to go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's overpriced for how desorganized & amateur the experience is.
They talk about organic and local ingredients, japanese &Mexican fusion, but the japanese aspect wasn't there, they told us that they "couldn't find fish" today in the whole town so the whole meal was vegetarian, and we only learned we'd have vegetarian dinner when our 3rd course.
Quite disappointing as I was hoping to enjoy good japanese inspired food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible. Did not get served while other people who came later got served before my table. The chef was also the waiter who along with the rest of the staff ignored our table. The restaurant is family owned, the wife ignored us while the husband said he would come back to take our order but never did. When we left, the wife’s excuse was that they were understaffed. We would be understanding of that, except for the fact that they served multiple tables before us, and we left after 1.5 hours and they still didn’t attempt to take our order. Hospitality is not valued by this restaurant. We wanted to support a family owned business and even had a good time chatting with the four year old daughter. It is sad that no sincere apologies were given for the waste of time we had.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m not used to let review but this restaurant totally worsts it. Nice people, really good food (probably the best I had in Mexico) and beautiful setting. Thanks Luis and all the team.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. We waited for an hour and a half and none of the staff asked for our order. We alerted them about this three times throughout the night and no one really seemed to care or do anything about it. Meanwhile, all of the other patrons were being served and attended to. We wanted to give the restaurant a shot because it was family run and the food seemed good, but left feeling extremely upset at the way we were treated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loooooved this spot. We walked in and they told us they’re slinging natural wine which immediately impressed us as we only came for the adorable decor and beautiful view for sunset. We had three dishes - all amazing. There’s no menu you get served omakase according to preferences. We have a ton of conflicting restrictions in our group which they worked around. The vegetable taco served in a Swiss chard leaf did all of our taste buds and bodies miraculously. Also beautiful cocktail program - I often find Paloma’s nice but a bit simplistic to order at a bar - the one here is perfectly balanced.
