★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So I go here and ask about the local beers, and the waiter says they only have one at the moment, and it's the best of the local brews, but that it it's srill a bit insipid. What the hell, I go somewhere different and drink what I know? So luck be a lady tonight, I order the local beer and you know what? It really was pish. But full star marks for restaurant as they didn't give me any BS, they warned me the stuff was rank, no complaints from me. Honesty gets its reward. And the pizza I had was sensational, anyone who compains about the price (4 bucks for an artesenal pizza right on the town square) needs to eat in any other state capital in the country, where the food is half as good for twice the price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is good and the place is nice but sadly the waitresses are not that helpful, they are slow and most of the time are in a bad mood.
This is the kind of restaurant in which the owners tried really hard to make something fancy but the result is little bit odd. For some people the prices might be a little expensive for what it is.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great atmosphere and ambiance. Nice outdoor seating. Ate here on a Friday night just after 7pm. Server was very helpful at helping us pick the favorites off the menu.
Then all down hill from there. Ordered a pitcher of sangria, asking if it was on the sweeter side. It was not. Order our desert first as our appitiser. The tiramisu was good. The two pizzas took more than an hour to be make. Granted the place was busy, but I think the server was the only person for more than 20 tables. Never saw anyone else. Pizza came out cold with out any additional toppings. Red pepper or parmesan. Nothing.
I wish this person had had some help. It would have made the evening much more enjoyable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were looking for somewhere casual for dinner and decided to give this place a try and we were glad that we did! Since we shared a pizza and salad I can only comment on these items and they were both excellent - I think some of the best pizza we have had in Mexico and the salad was full of extras! We would love to return one day and try the pasta! Great job by the staff - keep up the good work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really liked it. They have good mezcales. The service was quick and polite. Tasty and original drinks and a 2x1 special. The bathroom was clean and the price is fair for downtown Tlax. Def coming back!
