Mr. Vegan - 48310 Puerto Vallarta

We were satisfied with our visit to Mr. Vegan. We were served quickly and asked for drinks right at the beginning. The menu is available via WhatsApp. We ordered cauliflower (yummy!!) Ensiladas and a "burger wrap". The food came quickly and also tasted good. Our request for more sauce was also fulfilled. Please take cash with you, as card payment is not yet possible. Have fun exploring.

The BEST vegan tacos al pastor I have tried. The agua fresca was also so delicious! Highly recommend for both vegan visitors and locals!

The owner was very nice and welcoming but I'm sorry to say the food was dissapointing. I wasn't able to eat the chilaquiles, I took one bite and had to set it aside. and we waited almost a full hour just for two entrees!

Great choices. We had the Tacos Dorados and they were excellent .. so were the enchiladas … will be back for more!! Oh, and I forgot to mention that the prices are very affordable … 180 pesos was the total for the enchiladas and the tacos.

This place was amazing! Great selection of delicious food at really good prices. The chef greeted us personally and told us the specials, we told him we liked spicy food so he made a salsa just for us. The food came out quick and everything tasted great. The staff were all really friendly and attentive. I literally can not recommend this place enough, my fiancée and I loved it and will come back every time we are in PV. Thank you, can't wait to eat here again!

We were extremely pleasantly surprised by this magical little place. The food is super delicious, whole, and well presented. Mr. Vegan is really nice and explains everything well. The Menu is on whatsapp which is novel. Really nice experience. Gorditas and Cauliflower wings were 10/10. The restaurant is cozy and beautifully painted. You can tell this place is a labor of love. Will be going back for sure! (ps I saw a negative review on here and id like to reply to somethings on his review, first, there was a highchair, the street is finished, and we received a large carafe of iced pineapple juice that was amazing. Also the wait was maybe 10 mins for food, and well worth it.)

I believe it is important to be honest in writing any review, and everyone of the four hundred plus I have submitted for Google Maps are. It is also important to be polite when the review may not be what the business owner had expected, but I believe that this is important for the owner to know my perception of the experience I had with their business in hopes that it will help them improve and bring in even more customers. I have two friends that are vegetarians and I checked listings on Google Maps in the area near where we would be, and after reading the reviews, decided on Mr. Vegan. I arrived about a half hour prior to my friends and was seated at a table and asked for my order. I explained it would be a few minutes, I was early and they were on the way. Five minutes later the waiter asked if I was ready to order, I said no, but I would like a non-alcoholic beverage. Five minutes later a very small warm glass of juice was set in front of me and the waiter asked if I was ready to order. I replied that I had not even received a menu yet, but would like one. A menu never came but my friends arrived and the waiter rattled off everything from memory that was available for lunch. A plate of enchiladas, one of tacos, and a salad for myself were delivered over a half hour later with no offers for refill of beverages or the chips and salsa which were barely enough for one person in the beginning and I had eaten most of them before my friends arrived. We were the only sitting guests in the restaurant and for them to have three waiters and two cooks I would have expected a little more attention and followup from the wait staff and definitely not over a 30 minute wait for such simple orders. I will go back and give them another try one day soon. Now, there is construction on the street in front now so no steet parking at all, no handicapped facilities at all, there is a restroom for diners, kids are welcome, no highchairs, and this is cash only like many small restaurants in Mexico. Another thing I think is key in any business serving the public is smile and a thank you. The two of those go a long way to make up for possible other shortfalls. The food was good and I look forward to going back in the very near future.

Oh Yeah - These guys have come a LONG way. The menu has lots of variety and everything we've tried has been delicious. Keep in mind this Isn't fast food - They are actually cooking in the back, expect atleast 30 to 45 minutes, don't be in a hurry and you'll enjoy it much more ?
