Iztapan proviene del náhuatl y se compone de "iztatl" que significa sal y "pan" que significa en o sobre, su significado es "en la sal" o "salinas".
Otra traducción de Iztapan es Iztac: blanco, atl: agua y pan:significa "en aguas blancas".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pues pueblo mágico, con calles muy bonitas, muy tradicional, libre de contaminación. Solo fui por un rato pero aquel rato que fui se siente un ambiente diferente a la fe la ciudad. Algo igual típico es su mercado, llenos de restaurante y buena vibra, se van a enamorar de este lugar y si eres de pueblo te hará recordar tu rancho y sus calles.
Está a 2 aproximadamente de la ciudad de México ( en carro) y como a tres horas desde la central de autobuses de observatorio
Well, magical town, with very beautiful streets, very traditional, pollution-free. I only went for a while but that time I went feels a different environment to faith the city. Something equally typical is its market, full of restaurant and good vibes, they will fall in love with this place and if you are from town it will make you remember your ranch and its streets.
It is about 2 from Mexico City (by car) and about three hours from the observatory bus station
