★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mexico is more than good dentists and cooperative pharmacies. The next time you're in Naco, keep walking up the main drag and stop at the plaza. Depending on the time of day, there will be all kinds of activity, none of it planned. Most Mexican towns have a plaza/park in the middle of the pueblo. Naco is no exception. The police department and City Hall are right next to the plaza. All that is missing is the Catholic Church on the other side. For those living or traveling to Bisbee, AZ., Naco is a great way to get a taste of Mexico without having to travel far. You can even walk across. Park your car in Naco, AZ., near the Gay 90s bar. Nobody bothers vehicles there. Walk through the port of entry and into this small town with a big heart. You'll be glad you did.
