★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me encanta la tranquilidad de ese lugar, en el centro no vi tiendas que habran todo el dia y regularmente los negocios cierran a las 11 por lo que recomiendo hacer las compras con anticipación.
I love the tranquility of that place, in the center I did not see stores that will be open all day and regularly businesses close at 11 so I recommend doing the shopping in advance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un pueblo mágico pero parece muerto, 3 horas sin tráfico para llegar, muy pocas cosas que visitar, muy chico y todo cierra a las 8 de la noche.
No es un lugar indispensable para ver si vas a Pto. Vallarta, la carretera para ir esta muy estrecha y con muchísimas curvas, en las noches esta peligroso y los carros van demasiado rápido.
A magical town but it seems dead, 3 hours without traffic to get there, very few things to visit, very small and everything closes at 8 at night.
It is not an essential place to see if you go to Puerto Vallarta, the road to go is very narrow and with many curves, at night it is dangerous and the cars go too fast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful small museum with great exhibits from around the area. What a surprise to find this quality museum in the small town of Mascota. The museum has had lots of support from National Geographic and archeologist, Joseph Mountjoy. The descriptions are in Spanish, but ask the guide and you can have an English translation to help you get the most out of the museum. Take a look at the registry of guests and you will see names from all of the world.
