★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely building, especially the rooftop, and an interesting mixture of ancient artefacts, modern and classical art.
The only thing I didn't like was the *extremely* vigilant, even if pleasant, guards - I have rarely felt so closely watched in any museum anywhere. With CCTV everywhere I think it's possible to show a little more trust in your visitors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hardly any texts in English!
Beautiful museum with lots of prehispanic art. You could spend 2 hours here. A very interesting part on the language and hieroglyphics.
Also has a part with contemporary art and an app that provides extra information and audio. Mostly in Spanish though

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great museum experience. Slightly long for my taste, but I’m just a man at the end of the day. Nice assortment of exhibits to tickle any fancy. Great cafe on the rooftop for a relaxing beverage post-wander.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic collection, free on Monday, possibly Sunday as well. Great mix of archeological pieces, contemporary art, and photography.
The rooftop has a stunning view of the historic center. Seeing the large antique books in the library is worth a visit in its own.
I recommend to go near opening to beat the crowds on the free days. 1.5-2.5 hours to visit, depending on speed.
