★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This museum is an incredible effort by Tiholop's community to preserve it's cultural heritage. It displays unique precolonial Mayan artifacts along with colonial and recent Mayan historical photos, tools and documents, among other things. It's a very informative museum. In particular, it showcases the importance of Tiholop and the neighboring towns in the Caste Wars. The museum also houses a small collection of hard-to-find books about the region and Mayan culture.
