★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tenía una exposición, para mí algo extraña, en la cuál una artista llamada Yutzil Cruz pretende dar voz a los indígenas que la llegada de la Colonia Española les arrebató su derecho de seguir siéndolo. Y protesta porque ahora "todos somos mexicanos pero hay algunos que valen màs que otros y que algunos no tienen más que imitar y pretender siendo europeos". La expo tiene sus toques y sesgos políticos muy bien defonidos aunque no los llama por su nombre. La entrada cuesta $40.00 pero a mí no me costó nada por ser mayor de 60 años. Todos muy amables y dispuestos a ayudarte ó a despejar dudas.
He had an exhibition, something strange for me, in which an artist named Yutzil Cruz tries to give a voice to the indigenous people that the arrival of the Spanish Colony took away their right to continue being indigenous. And he protests because now "we are all Mexicans but there are some who are worth more than others and that some only have to imitate and pretend to be Europeans." The expo has its political touches and biases very well defined, although it does not call them by name. Admission costs $40.00 but it didn't cost me anything for being over 60 years old. Everyone is very friendly and willing to help you or clear up doubts.
