★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited with my mom and daughter, you can find interesting lithography from foreigners and locals picturing Mexico and Orizaba. Good collection of paintings portray important characters. Best part: Picasso's!! You pay an insignificant amount and get access to everything including a guide for every area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful museum that features a permanent collection of early Diego Rivera's works, plus other interesting temp exhibits throughout the year. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The arquitecture of the building is really beautiful and well preserved. There are a lot of historical pictures, very well preserved. They explain you about every pictures and the story behind it, it is very interesting. They also talk about a little bit of the history of the town and other places to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fascinating art museum housed next to a church with rooms facing a courtyard on the first and second floor. One of the best collections of 19th century lithographs of Vera Cruz and the Mexican railroad. A wonderful collection of Diego Rivera's early paintings was the highlight. Descriptions are in english and spanish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extensive array of paintings and drawings by Veracruz- related artists, mostly 19th century portraits and scenery. I liked the Diego Rivera exhibit best of all. Our guide Jorge was knowledgeable and good company.
