It is really wonderful to know the history of cocoa, how it began to be used and marketed. Try the freshly made pure chocolate, there they give you to taste, its bitter taste changes when you add a little habanero chili, cinnamon and sugar.

A quaint chocolate shop with both hot and cold chocolate drinks, baked chocolate goodies, bars and bark. The chocolate is sourced in Tabasco, MX. Nice stories on the wall about the history of chocolate in the state of Yucatan. Highly recommended to visit.

It is a small exhibit with tours every hour. We did not wait for the tour but the place had chocolate history on the walls and a great cafe with tons of chocolate options as you would expect.

Avoid at all cost! Don’t waste your time and money getting an Uber here just to read some signs on a wall and a few pictures. No guided tours or anything available. I thought I was going to try some authentic chocolates from the area, but nothing! AVOID AT ALL COST!
