Sobre el acceso, no hay costo alguno, sin embargo, puedes dejar una cooperación voluntaria :) El contenido del lugar consiste en una serie de maquetas hechas de manera artesanal por la dueña de la casa. Dichas maquetas consisten en una pintura que sirve como escensario o fondo, los figurines hechos de hoja de tamal (totomoxtle), las cuales son impresionantes :) hechas con mucha paciencia seguramente y pintadas con una gran gama de colores; los demás objetos están hechos de madera o demás materiales. Pero realmente todo está hecho de totomoxtle, y uno podría pensar que son figuras de plástico o de tela cuando se ve la ropita de la gente miniatura, pero no, todo es hoja de tamal :) No recuerdo bien pero, la encargada (una chica joven), nos dijo que el museo tenía ya unos 20 años de existencia. En la entrada están expuestas figuras de totomoxtle para comprar de quienes deseen un bonito recuerdo :D Invito a los visitantes a acudir y apoyar nuestras tradiciones locales y también a consumir lo nuestro como mexicanos que somos :) Small must see museum if you are in Xico. About the access, there is no cost, however, you can leave a voluntary cooperation :) The content of the place consists of a series of models made in an artisanal way by the owner of the house. These models consist of a painting that serves as a censer or background, the figurines made of tamal leaf (totomoxtle), which are impressive :) made with great patience surely and painted with a wide range of colors; the other objects are made of wood or other materials. But really everything is made of totomoxtle, and one might think that they are plastic or cloth figures when you see the clothes of the miniature people, but no, it's all tamale sheet :) I do not remember well, but the person in charge (a young girl) told us that the museum was already 20 years old. Totomoxtle figures are displayed in the entrance to buy from those who wish a nice memory: D I invite visitors to come and support our local traditions and also to consume what is ours as Mexicans :)
