★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This museum is a gem in the heart of Guanajuato. Really worth to visit it. It has a precious collections of paintings and books. Also the building is beautiful and there is a cafè which is really good right in the courtyard. The capilla cervantina has an incredible murales!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I did not really know who Don Quijote was before coming here. My main knowledge was the Japanese department store which is called Don Quijote which I originally thought was called like Donkey Hote. I really admire the man who started this museum and I wish I could be as passionate about something as him. I also loved the collections of new art that were painted that year and I could still see were actually wet!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This museum exceeded our expectations! We really enjoyed the many levels and exhibits of Don Quixote. Makes for a great two-three hour visit if art museums are your thing. This is also one of the only museums that has transcribed the Spanish text to English. Very helpful, thank you. Loved the book store as well. Highly recommend a visit! Visit on Tuesday when it is gratis!
