★ ★ ★ ★ ★ CHURRIGUERESQUE a term for Spanish Baroque Church is a splendor to behold. The Mexican orange structures that surrounds it compliments the beauty of the centuries old church. The Jacaranda trees that accents the orange walls of the bars and restaurant on the left side of the church makes the composition naturally perfect. This place is part of the “Camino Real del Tierra Adentro” the old Spanish road that stretches 2,900 km that starts from Mexico City to New Mexico if the United States. A must to visit in Mexico

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is closed. Another cultural site closed to the public pointing to COVID while restaurants, bars and the shops of many of these cultural sites remain open. I wonder what is the link between COVID and Mexican culture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a small town a few miles from Mexico City. If you can, avoid visiting it at weekends; because it's literally crowded! Yet, if you come during the week, you have to pay around 4 USD (year 2018) to enter, and it's free on Sundays. The museum is exquisite with real baroque pieces as it is part of a monastery. After visiting the museum, you may take a walk around the square and have a snack, mealor a drink in the nearby restaurant which most of them offer Mexican traditional food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful paintings and historic items throughout. The main halls of the church all have important pieces on display as well as takes on some of the early invaders in Mexico. Make sure to have a nice meal before you go to this museum as it's very large and it can take several hours to cover everything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Magnificent place, a true jewel of churriguresque arquitechture. The museum has incorporated a church and Jesuit convent into a well preserved place full of historical items and art. Visit early and enjoy this cultural place and restaurants.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful museum to visit while you're visiting the beautiful town of Tepozotlan. Place is quite big, so expect a good walk. Lots of chapels, Spanish paintings, and green areas.
