★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I liked the building but many rooms were closed off. There was no tour offered but one employee answered a few questions I had about the legislative room on the second floor. Not much is labeled so without a tour it was something I could have skipped.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow, visit this museum to see just a sample of the many palaces in Guanajuato city. Still a place for government offices it has permanent and traveling exhibitions that will delight and amaze you. Entrance is $30 pesos and a guide is provided for free.
