It is a museum that reminds me of the geology museum in Mexico city. Neat and full of Durango's history.

Better known as Museo Del Aguacate (Avocado Museum), as it has an avocado tree in its garden. It has a lot of history of Durango, including interesting expositions of local species. Building has a beautiful architectonic design.

Beautiful museum in a historical house, featuring history of the city and state of Durango. Guided tours are available, and the tour progresses through different eras of time, starting with the beginning and moving forward. The building's architecture is just as beautiful and interesting as the contents of the museum as well.

Small but very complete museum in the very heart of Durango's downtown.

A lovely little museum and very affordable. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable. We enjoyed wandering around one of the historic buildings of this city and learning a b about what home life and industry was here. They also did a good job of informing about native ancestry as well as nature and local species m.
