One of the best art galleries in the country. Very accessible to anyone. There's even a technology museum section where you can see antique musical instruments, phones, and even microscopes. It's a must if you come to CDMX. And it's free.

One of the best museum in Mexico City in the moment for us was free. The museum was clean, the staff it will communicate in your languages and they will help you in any moment.

Nice and Free. Sweet coin collection. Big a** door to hell. Very cool building. A rather morbid yet exquisite ivory collection. 5/5 because it’s free.

This museum is massive and has a beautiful facade. I was very impressed by the collection of artifacts inside and th quality, plus the fact that an amazing art collection as this was made available free to the public. My one piece of constructive criticism, I hope, is that it could be better curated. There are faberge eggs, for example, next to antique coins. Even if they are to be on the same floor, there needs to be several separations within parts of a collection. That said, 5 stars for making such an amazing collection free to the people. Not many museums across the world would do that.

The Soumaya is a spectacle from the outside. It's Martian-like futuristic shape made me really wonder what the inside was like. After seeing it in person, I was a little sad to see that the Interior doesn't match the exterior. The collection is okay for general culture but wish it had the same presence the exterior has. Pros: it's free and the floor filled with all the Mexican Art and artifacts made me happy.

Incredible architecture and impressive collection spanning Spanish, Mexican, Asian, and European artwork. Not to mention it's free and open 365 days/year! The beautiful and fragrant roses outside make it even more of a sure thing. No restaurant inside, though, which is fine, but just something to note.

Amazing museum, free to the public thanks to the generosity of Carlos Slim. I was aware that they had a considerable number of European masters, but there was also a sizable collection of Asian ivory and a great selection of Mexican artists. I don’t think I have ever seen so many Rodin’s in my life! The entrance hall has a piece by Rodin, The Gates of Hell, which is just jaw-dropping, I have seen variations a couple of times in other cities, but this was by far my favourite.
