No tiene costo el ingreso, ni el recorrido por las instalaciones, si deseas dejar propina al guía es opcional y te darán un certificado. El grado de conservación de las instalaciones de la mina es impresionante, conocerás cerca de 120 mts. de la mina donde extraían cuarzo, plata y oro en el siglo XIX. 5 minutes from Tlalpujahua, it is a destination that you have to visit, without a doubt. Entrar a la excavación, conocer la vida y la historia de las personas que trabajaron en ese lugar es impactante. El camino que lleva de Tlalpujahua a la mina es bellísimo un paseo por el bosque. Hay siempre un guía que lleva a los grupos de personas al recorrido. El guía es gratis pero considero importante dar una propina como reconocimiento, hacen muy bien su trabajo y se nota que están orgullosos de su historia. A must stop if you go to Tlalpujahua. No es muy recomendable ir con niños por tantos escalones y la duración del recorrido. Pero pueden quedarse afuera de la tiendita. Solamente cobran una aportación voluntaria. Deberían de cobrar una cuota mínima fija para darle más mantenimiento y mayor difusión. A very complete site museum. The tour is long and they explain all the areas and processes of the old mine. The guide who touched us was friendly. It is not highly recommended to go with children for so many steps and the duration of the route. But they can stay outside the store.
