G	Greg Dombowsky on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went out of our way to visit this Museum and really it was rather ordinary. The nearby archaeological areas where also closed. As soon as you arrive there's a guide will meet you and request money.

J	Jeff Murphy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't give up five stars for anything really. But this is definitely 4 and 1/2 Stars worth of of Museum. It's terrific I highly recommend it and get a tour guide for 200 pesos or so and you will learn a ton.

The museum has the information on all of the artifacts but I would recommend getting a guide. They not only explain the artifacts but take you off site to see where the artifacts came from. Jose was the guide we got an it was well worth it. He is a native and he makes you appreciate the culture for sure. They are still restoring the offsites but it is going to get even better when they are done. I recommend taking time away from the beach because you will not regret it.
