Great service, food is Amazing very traditional ingredients with a twist to make it fresh with a new touch and keeps you very interested on trying more dishes. The drink menu is unique and delicious refreshing many flavors and ingredients never tasted before. Loved my diner so much went to have breakfast next day and again blown away we shared the waffles with cocoa and wanted more beautiful presentation and flavors on point and the chilaquiles Mux also superb. Thanks for a great experience and we will be back.

Good experimental food. Well stocked bar. Good coffee, as one would expect in Roma. Cheaper than expected. If there weren't so many places to explore around, I would come back.

The heritage of Mexican cuisine has so much more to offer beyond the pots and pans of Oaxaca and Puebla or the occasional Cocinita Pibil of Yucatan. If you consider yourself a food adventurer, you must visit "Mux". The chef´s vision is nothing short of gastro-ethnology, with her mission being the re-discovery of food traditions of Mexico's lesser know regions and tribes. The menu changes at intervals and the kitchen team always includes descriptions and background information as to the dishes and their ingredients, their origin and history. Furthermore all ingredients come from regional sources, with a larger portion of the vegetables coming from an agricultural initiative seeking to revive the Aztec farming tradition of Chinampas (floating gardens). The food itself is prepared with loving care and creativity, deliciously tasty and textured. You will encounter some daring and some highly unusual tastes and preparations that will challenge your buds yet always delightfully so! The bar has some amazing gems to discover (certainly other libations than Mezcal! But if it must be Mezcal, try their Margarita Smokey!), the service is cordial and laid-back but attentive nonetheless. The general vibe is welcoming, open and fun. If you wish to taste the next level evolution of the Mexican food revolution - "Mux" is your place. Certainly a still somewhat hidden champion among the best restaurants in CDMX!

A hidden gem in Roma Norte! The chef is fantastic, and the menu is carefully curated. Can’t recommend this place enough!

We have been many times and have recommended MUX to visitors and locals. Influence from Estado de Mexico and Oaxaca provides fabulous choices. But this evening was completed with a magnificent Platano Macho bathed in syrup and a smooth, slightly Smokey Jabali Mezcal. ?Diana!

Food and drinks were great!! I really think the chef is doing a fantastic job back there. The wait staff was laughably bad tho. We were there for the New Year’s Eve dinner. We were regrettably told we couldn’t get a seat because it was reservation only, but we actually did have a reservation. They just didn’t ask. We didn’t get proper menus. We were just shown something printed for the wait staff with drink pairings scribbled onto the paper. The table still had bits of food on it and we had to ask for it to be cleaned. We asked for one meal to be vegan, but we were given one dish with cheese and then sent back a dish with meat, but still the next dish contained cheese sprinkled on top. Our forks were taken away after the first course and not replaced so we sat there with our second course for like 5 minutes, unable to eat it. The table next to us also started their first course with no utensils and were noticeably impatient. The staff didn’t seem to learn from our mishap. The wait staff didn’t explain what any of the dishes are. They just put the dishes down. My roast mushroom dish came out super cold (maybe on purpose? But seemed weird). No paper towels in the bathroom. Also the restaurant had empty tables the entire night. Not sure why they kept turning people away who wanted to eat here. I hope they get better because the food/drinks are great!

Our fave breakfast spot in CDMX. Such friendly staff, right in Roma Norte. Great lattes and food. They even gave us a free pastry. I mean, look at that fruit. Would absolutely come back again.
