MVNGATA Beach Club & Rooftop - 77727 Playa del Carmen

Fabulous view on a full moon night! Food is delicious and service was great!

Daytime-we spent the day at the beach club. Great service. But we had a chance to your the rooftop. They are open on the weekends...adult only. Nighttime-the rooftop has a spectacular view all the way to Cozumel. The service is OUTSTANDING. And we loved our dinner (Salmon Wellington & Grilled Snapper). We were there on a Wednesday night-rooftop opened at 5:30.

Had dinner on the rooftop deck last night; a wonderful setting with great music and wide variety of tasty food and drinks. Prices were very reasonable and service was amazing; Luigi is an exceptional waiter, going out of his way to make sure we had a great time! I look forward to my next visit! I highly recommend this as a mid-vacation getaway from surrounding "all inclusives"!

Stayed at a nearby resort but came here for dinner one night. 10/10. The views were amazing, the service was fantastic and the food and drinks were way better than at our resort. It was a Wednesday night and they had live music, but it wasn't loud, it was very intimate. Nice spot for a romantic dinner.

Went to the rooftop restaurant, and the views were great. The food was very good, and a very reasonable price, and Juan, Mario, and Luigi did a great job taking care of us.

Wow, what a scam! We made our reservation for their "oh so famous" beach club upfront and were told there were two sunbeds "reserved" for us, with a towel service and a minimum consumption of 500 mxn per person. When we arrived we checked in at the front desk leaving 300 pesos deposit per mini towel which were not even close to sufficient for covering the sun beds. The two promised sunbeds weren't existing. Service was slow, beach is rocky and only a narrow strip of maybe 25m width. Totally overrated place, better chill at the beach with your drinks bought at oxxo. If you're easy to please and haven't seen other places on earth, do visit. We travel a lot but I have never seen such a bad value for money. Oh and the beach towels color your clothes in blue... Don't wear your favorite bikini...if their laundry service doesn't fix it, I can throw mine away ?

We went to the rooftop bar and it was amazing from the views to the food. The service was great as well, our server was Luigi and he made the effort to get to know us and have conversations with us. We did have to wait longer for food but it was worth the wait and the price. Definitely recommend this place if you are staying in Playa.

I purchased the day pass and I had an amazing time! It was 3 people, we had more than enough money in credits for food and drinks. The view was gorgeous, the staff was very attentive to us. Our waiter Juan was frequently checking in to ensure we had everything we wanted. He was an excellent waiter. Her even taught us a little bit of Mayan which was an awesome experience. This place is totally worth the money and the view is phenomenal. Worth the 5 stars!
