Our experience with My Medical Vacations was exceptional! From the moment we inquired with the team, they were easily accessible to answer any questions and provide all the details and steps for a successful trip. All logistics were taken care of and we were treated very well. It was nice to have the expertise of the team look after our apts., picking us up and ensuring we were recovering accordingly to our plan. Our home during our stay was really nice, and close to some great restaurants, Walmart and Starbucks. It was always good to get out for a walk. Extra caution was taken due to Covid, and we felt safe at all times. A big thank you for Betty, Dr. Valdez and Ana, our personal RN who looked after us so well. Amazing team, and we really appreciate all your support. I would definitely recommend MMV and their team.

I tore my shoulder muscles in four places. I do not have insurance so I looked at prices in Mexico. I was very nervous about wiring money out of the country. After talking with the Staff I was quickly confident that it was not only legitimate but that they are focused on the total customer experience. They picked us up at the airport and for every appointment up to the surgery and after. Their concierge and nurses were very knowledgeable and focused on my comfort level. As it turns out the company hand picks the best doctors to work with in whatever field your needing care in. The owner is very very involved in the day to day activities and making sure everything goes good. We even had a chance to have dinner with him and that was a nice touch. I will be coming again for their services. Things I would do differently is have them book a hotel on the beach so I could enjoy the ambience while I’m healing. I would also come a few days earlier and do a few more excursions before the surgery. I would also have your meal plans figured out so your not worrying about food while your there. Being that I am a US citizen where health care is high I’m excited about using My Medical Vacations in the future. Highly recommend! Update: 7 Months after Surgery: At four months after surgery I was having some minor pain and grinding feeling. At six months I got about five deep tissue massages over the course of a month and a half. My should feels great now and no pain. Pretty amazing given I do heavy physical labor. Very happy with the surgery.

My partner and I both appreciated the great care provided to us by each member of the MMV team. From the start, Betty was great and made the process easy by being quick and informative in answering all our questions from Canada. The itinerary laid out for our Cancun stay and procedure was detailed and gave us peace of mind as it took care of every detail. We still had anxiety as you can imagine, given that we're both travelling out of country to do 360 vaser lipo during a pandemic, but our anxiety was eased by the team every step of the way. We have to say thank you to Ana who took such good care of us pre and post surgery down to our last day. Both Betty and Ana are gems, as their personal touch and attentiveness really made us feel well taken care of. Our experience with Dr. Valdez was also superb, he's a big guy but kind of a gentle giant in my eyes, so knowledgeable and quite the artist with his surgical skills. We already see great results after one week and can't wait to see the results get better as the swelling and bruising goes down further. The 10 days flew by with all the pre and post examinations and treatments, but everyone we met from the team was super friendly and provided a great experience overall. I would definitely recommend MMV and use them again ... maybe in 5 year for a mini face lift perhaps lol.

I cannot begin to explain how fantastic this was for me. First was Flor she talked to me by telephone to answer my questions . She was amazing took me through it step by step. With out her encouragement I would not have lost the weight to even have my tummy tuck and breast lift. I was given a quote for everything and it never changed. My quote included all transportation for airport to hotel and everything in between. All medications, all nurses visits everyday, included my PCR test to come back to Canada, blood work, IV therapy, Lung cat scan, cardiologist appointment Dr. Valdez was very particular of where my incision would be, what my skin quality would be capable off. Made me feel very relaxed. he did such an amazing job for me, he cared so much about giving me shape and beauty. Very careful to make sure I would leave there healthy and safe. Betty Corona was awesome she made me laugh when I needed to and gave me so much needed comfort She is still in contact with me and Im home two weeks already. I can ask her anything anytime and she gets back to me promptly. Anna my nurse was so great met me with a smile everyday. reassured me that she always had time for my questions and needs. All I can say is in my opinion there is no better place in the world to go and get these procedures done. I get compliments everyday and I feel great and not even fully healed yet . Simply amazing staff

I have travelled to Cancun on 3 occasions now for surgery from Canada in the past 11 years. From my first experience with this amazing team to my most recent here in December 2021, the quality of service has never faltered. It is a big decision to have an elective procedure, and an even bigger one to do it abroad. The cost savings is a primary point for many, but for me it's the trust I have in the team. The Dr's are thorough in ensuring you are ready for surgery. This is huge, pre-operative bloodwork is completed, assessments are completed (cardiologist, anesthetist etc) to ensure no complications will arise. The surgeon gives you real expectations for your results and will not compromise your safety. The biggest benefit to choosing to have your surgery here is the post-operative care. At home, most procedures are day surgery - overnight at best and you are left to the care of your family etc, there's follow up appointments and calls if you have questions, but with MMV - you have both your nurse, and your coordinator checking on you daily. Any question, any concern is addressed right away. Your nurse is with you providing you a level of care that you will not see elsewhere. I wanted to leave this review as these are the biggest reasons I will not go elsewhere, and the biggest reason if you aren't sure - to feel confident in making your choice. This review is on the staff only! Not Doctor Alvarez! They very pushy, “ CEO” is rude! They Bombard you with his “ Credentials” who cares!! I mentioned that the doctor has bad review but they still ignored it and basically told me. What’s your deal? Get over the bad review and cut to the chase! I was planning to get face work done, how can you ignore someone’s review? The person stated that Dr. Alvarez botched her neck! Would you go to the doctor who botched someone?

Words cannot express how glad I am that I chose MyMedicalVacations to have my surgery. I am A RN in the US & had a bad experience with Sono Bello in Orlando. I was nervous to have another procedure especially in a foreign country. I researched for months & interviewed several surgeons in the US & abroad. It was actually MMV who led me to Dr Valdez who is a brilliant & talented surgeon. I was weary of getting sucked into an overpriced sales scheme with a medical vacation company but the staff at MMV is absolutely phenomenal. They do not just take your money then forget about you. Everything is taken care of for you - housing, pre & post appointments, meds, house visits daily by a nurse. Ana, Betty, & Carolina are the sweetest people. They treat you like family before & after. I still talk to them a month later! They go out of their way even after hours to make you comfortable physically & mentally. Ana is the hardest working nurse I ever met & really cares about her patients. I am very pleased with my results & care. I would recommend them to anyone. I am telling all my friends that this is the way to go for any procedure & already have one friend who wants to use them!

The staff at My Medical Vacations are wonderful caring professionals. They are very well organized and thorough in there work, making your medical proceedure go as smoothly as possible. They choose the best Doctors and Dentists etc. so that you can feel most confident that you will be given the greatest possible treatment and care.
