I just stayed here 8 nights with my fiancé and we had a great time. It’s in a good location, we rented bikes and rode all over, it’s about 15 min ride to the beach and a 7-10 min ride to the downtown area. Everyone we dealt with at the front was super nice and helpful. The smell that they have in the front lobby is wonderful. The food and drinks are a bit pricey so we mostly bought things from the Chedraui a few minutes away and stored them in the mini fridge. The view is great from the pool - although the pool was pretty cold so we didn’t spend much time in there. We parked our rental car below in the underground parking the whole time - upon checkout the guy mentioned it cost $5USD per day to park there, but no one had told us that at the beginning, so he kindly waived the cost. Also we drank one sprite from the mini bar in the room - but it was totally flat, so he didn’t charge us for that either. They had beautiful live music one night, the bed was extremely comfortable, the balcony was great, the AC worked great. The room smelled a bit damp but you’re in a humid jungle environment so that’s to be expected in my experience. I’m not sure what these bad reviews are about but I definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again!

We absolutely loved staying at Naala Tulum! The location is set perfectly between the beach and town. It felt tucked away from the main central road, we felt safe walking to and from the Tulum center day and night. The security staff at the front was an extra + too. The hotel is simple but beautiful, didn't feel overcrowded and had many spots for lounging. The restaurant was good and the rooftop pool was amazing to start and end the hot Mexican days. The bar had a huge selection of drinks at reasonable prices. The lobby bar was so great to hang out and drink. We loved our bartender, Oscar for creating delicious custom drinks for us, teaching us about mezcal and tequila. The french cafe on property was great too for espresso drinks and pastries. The entire staff at Naala were so attentive, kind and hospitable. Overall, a great experience, amazing price and perfect choice if you're not feeling the prices of staying at the beach clubs! + Location, Service, Safety, Drinks, Rooftop Pool, Comfy Beds & Balcony & Amazing water pressure - Thin walls (can hear conversations as people walk by, or people getting back late),

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved it. Our room was stunning, the restaurant is really good (and the prices don't Rio you off!), and our stay was altogether very positive. Would stay again.

The good: The hotel is nicely designed. The rooms are spacious, cosy and well equipped. The front desk had been very helpful. The bad: The breakfast is a joke. Dry bland eggs, toast and fruits. Worst meal I had ever had in Mexico. The room keys system is broken. We got locked out of our rooms twice during our 3-days stay. The staff beyond front desk doesn’t speak English at all. The location is neither in the center nor at the beach… it takes time to travel to anywhere from this location.

It could be a nice hotel, but there is no control or service to monitor guests. People party in the room all night, security doesn’t care. If you love noise and sleepless nights and days this is the right place for you. Around lunchtime they bring a DJ on the roof until late at night and you’ll be forced to listen to techno music because you can hear everything. I will never return to this hotel and I do not recommend it. Definitely don’t come here if you are looking to relax.

I had an amazing experience here. The staff are lovely, kind, and patient. It was great to have a room with a fridge and stove so we didn't have to dine out every night. The fans and air conditioning were adequate to manage the heat of the jungle. The food at the restaurant on the roof is outstanding. The only unfortunate part if our experience was the ongoing construction at the adjacent site during the day. Not an issue if you're out doing adventures all day, but if you want a chill day relaxing on the roof, be prepared to protect your ears from the noise.

This place is in one word FANTASTIC! It’s so beautiful, the staff is super friendly and for my birthday they gave me a wonderful surprise in my room. Thank you so much! We are absolutely loving our stay here. The pool on the rooftop is stunning and the many seating options around it are the perfect way to spend your day relaxing in a beautiful setting. Breakfast is also great. Oh, and the bed is sooooo comfortable!! I could sleep for 12 hours in it :)

This hotel is super nice. The rooms are spacious. Staff is great. Pool is great. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Few issues: When you take a shower the entire bathrooms get wet. The shower needs a glass door or a step to contain water. The hotel is new but it seems like the construction people did leave traces of bad designs and job. Owners and management need to look into that because it will not last more than a year and problem will start appearing. Breakfast area is nice but the service is super slow because of the shortage of staff.
