WOW!! This place is paradise. We stayed for the end of our Honeymoon and we never wanted to leave. Jeannette, Javiar, Angel, the whole staff is so accommodating and welcoming, and the location is spectacular! I cannot wait to return. This place is truly magical!!

Without hesitation Nah Uxibal is the nicest place to stay on Soliman Bay. This was our third time there. The new casitas are fabulous. We swam with turtles right off the beach and even witnessed a turtle hatch. Snorkeling in the bay is awesome. If you want parties, nightlife and general craziness, skip Nah. If you are looking for peaceful sunrises, clear water, starry nights and serenity, Nah Uxibal is for you.

This is a long review but please read! The hotel is not as advertised: - Pool is broken and not useable - Range is broken with only one burner working - "Breakfast included" means 1 egg (not prepared) and a pack of tortillas - internet does not work - fan in room doesn’t work and no AC (prepare to sweat!) - bugs, ants and cockroaches in room everywhere I had high hopes for this hotel. I made this reservation on a booking platform that does not allow to add babies on the reservation. We were on a family trip with a 2 and 3 year old. Prior to check in the owner contacted me and tried to up sell me on a higher priced room (as if this place isn’t expensive enough). I politely declined although get very uncomfortable as the text message I received mentioned guests are much more comfortable in the upgraded room. “Did I make a mistake booking this hotel, why aren’t all the rooms comfortable,” I thought. Upon checking in the grounds keeper showed me to my room. My 3 year immediately found several cockroaches in the room (gross!) the internet didn’t work and when I went to turn on the lights I was electrocuted! Actually electrocuted, ouch!! I brushed all this off, even the fact that the fan didn’t work (which is the only source for airflow in the room). Two nights later my family went to bed at 8pm as I have 2 babies. I received an abrasive text message from the owner at 11pm accusing my kids of keeping other guests up all night. She demanded $200 from us immediately or we must leave! She went on to state she was loosing $350 because someone is checking out early. The money hungry owner not only tried to up sell me prior to arrival but is now demanding more money again! She stated and I quote: “Please pay the link I sent you on the booking.com site or go find another place to stay tomorrow.” To be clear there was an infant in another room (not ours) that was crying all night. She probably should have asked around before making accusations like this. Our stay was ruined by the unprofessionalism and dirtyness of the room. If the room would have been nice I would have overlooked the owners abrasive actions but, dishes were dirty, bed felt wet, entire experience was just gross. Stay elsewhere!!

This place is paradise. We saw rainbow everyday of our stay. The night sky was unbelievable. This place brings this sense of peace and content that is hard to describe using words. It is on the beach/bay. The bay is shallow, which is great for hanging out in the water for hours together with kids. We swam, kayaked, and snorkeled, and hammocked away. This place attracts like minded people, we met fun and relaxed people always looking happy. It was hard to leave.

Very comfortable Casita in a beautiful bay. Great staff is there to help you in Whatever you need. The Casita is very well done nice beds sheets and towels. Full kitchen nice decks and everything was comfortable. They have paddle board kayaks and some snorkeling equipment. The bay is beautiful easy swimming beautiful snorkeling. One of the best parts is the owner Jeannette what a wonderful person to rent from. We really enjoyed our time there and looking forward to returning. The only not wonderful was the weak internet and no A/C which you probably didn't need if the weather is good. We highly recommend this place ?

The owner of this property is extremely disrespectful and un professional. She made it a point to ruin our vacation from the start, upset that we brought 2 kids to the property when through the booking sites it says kids are allowed. Going further, the property was an extreme let down, the beach is beautiful but the rooms and property its self are dated and the upkeep through out the grounds is VERY POOR! The owner needs to spend a significant amount of time and money bringing this up to par. Not to mention many of the appliances didn't work, light switches shocked u, pools were filthy, bugs all throughout the rooms. This beach location is beautiful but consider one of the MANY other properties along this stretch of beach. We will be back just not to Nah Uxibal.

We loved it, and surely come back... this is a real gem ! neat little houses tucked in a wonderful garden directly by the seashore. the caretakers are fantastic and friendly, and feels like home. it wasn’t our first time and it won’t be the last! thank you for making this so special.
