Nails V&V - 97000 Mérida

This place is THE BEST! I went there for a relaxing time with my girlfriends and they were able to acomódate us without any issues. The staff was super friendly and attentive. When we arrived they immediately offered us something to drink and towels to refresh our faces. They have a lot of colors and I didn’t got any art nails but my friend did and they look really good!

Sol did my nails today she was awesome and very patient with my Spanish. Wonderful job. I will be coming back.

Here’s what’s left of my manicure after less than 24 hours. Ironically, the manicure took (inexplicably) 90 minutes, by far the slowest manicure I’ve ever had. I noticed that there was no top coat, but figured it must be some kind of special polish. Turns out that it’s just incredibly bad and cheap nail polish that came off IN THE SHOWER. Seriously. About 8 hours after the manicure, I took a shower, and when I stepped out, this what was left. I asked for a refund, they said no. They offered me gel instead. I didn’t want gel, that’s why I got regular polish. I’ve been getting regular manicures for my whole life. Sure, it doesn’t last as long as gel, and can chip more easily, but it doesn’t wash off in the shower after 8 hours either ??‍♀️ Maybe they do a good job with gel but the regular manicure is basically a scam. Oh well. That’s $25 that I’ll never get back. I do not recommend this place. Pretty bad sanitation practices too - all the technicians were sticking their hands into the same tubs of exfoliating scrub with no gloves on and no hand washing that I saw. Don’t go here.
