Guy was super friendly and car was practically new.

Rented an econo box from them and had no issues with the car. I got upsold slightly on some extra insurance for $200 USD. When I returned the car they asked for $500 USD for the extra insurance. I argued with them and they agreed to bring it down to the proper $200 USD then got my credit card bill and $500 was ran through on it. I have the original receipt and they doctored it and now I am arguing with them back home to get my money back. Thankfully I kept the original signed receipt and when they presented the receipt from the branches side it was altered. This is fraud so please be careful and keep all your paperwork, take photos before and after you return the car, then check your credit card bills. I have never had an issue with renting vehicles before, just please be cautious no matter who you rent from. Thanks, J

My husband and I rented a car here and when we arrived they tried to sell him extra insurance beyond the mandatory and suggested extensions (we had additional third party insurance), there are many blog mentions of this happening in Puerto Vallarta, no surprise. He met them half way with insurance options, but turned down the theft insurance, within 2 hours our car was broken into and belongings taken from the trunk (we had been given a car with a convenient seat release lever from the back seat to the trunk). This could have been opportunistic, or not, but regardless a painful reminder to never leave items in a rental car unattended even in areas that seem "safe".

I went there to rent a car and they placed it really close to another car and in the shade during inspection. I was a bit suspicious and took pictures just to be on the safe side. Sure enough on our next stop with the car in the sun I saw this huge surface scratch in the lower part of the fender that was really hard to see given how they placed the car during inspection. I went back within 10 minutes and we could clearly see the scratch on my picture with Apple time stamp with the time being like 15 minutes earlier. They didn't want to acknowledge the scratch was present even though I had the proof! To be honest that kind of put a cloud on my vacation having to deal with the frustration, my wife freaking out, having to call the insurance and all... In the end they charged me 70$ for the damage which is very low in my opinion, was it so I wouldn't bother calling the insurance and just pay? I personally would be very cautious of these peoples!

The best outside of the US car rental experience I have had. Victor, who rented me the car at Paradise Village by the Hard Rock, was a super-nice guy and very helpful. I enjoyed our conversation during check in. Diego at airport return was efficient and offered great customer service. The shuttle was prompt and the driver quickly loaded and unloaded our bags. All three were great representatives of the wonderful people of Puerto Vallarta. The car itself, Nissan X-Trail, was perfect for us, got great gas mileage, and was in excellent shape. No doubt I will rent with National Puerto Vallarta when we come back in town again. I hope soon because Puerto Vallarta is a wonderful place.

Amazing service 5? Victor, was Outstanding...made sure me and my group were well taken care of went out of his way get us the perfect car n a great price... we arrived March 19th 2022...for me I will definitely be returning. No hidden costs!
