Es importante que el presupuesto Federal para esta institución de investigación a nivel mundial, se incremente anualmente, para mantener el nivel de calidad en la Investigación y Desarrollo de México. Actualmente, mucho se habla del desarrollo de las energías limpias, pero se cometieron errores en el pasado, al no dar mantenimiento y construcción de nuevas Centrales Hidroeléctricas como en otros países desarrollados. Asimismo, muchos proyectos de investigación desarrollados y concluidos, quedaron en el archivo. Hoy se tiene, la oportunidad de impulsar los proyectos de aprovechamiento de las fuentes alternas de energía, que por muchos años el IIE, fué el Pionero en la Investigación, Desarrollado y aprovechamiento de estás fuentes alternas de Energía Eléctrica, Eólica, Geotérmica e Hidráulica. It is important that the Federal budget for this research institution worldwide, be increased annually, to maintain the level of quality in Research and Development in Mexico. Currently, much is said about the development of clean energy, but mistakes were made in the past, by not maintaining and building new Hydroelectric Power Plants as in other developed countries. Likewise, many developed and concluded research projects remained in the archive. Today we have the opportunity to promote projects for the use of alternative energy sources, which for many years the IIE was the Pioneer in the Research, Development and use of these alternative sources of Electric, Wind, Geothermal and Hydraulic Energy.
