About Nevería Roxy

N/A

Fabulous old school ice cream parlour with table service. Delicious ice cream and sorbet. A wonderful Mexico City experience!

Wow amazing ice cream !! The vanilla tastes just like when I was a little boy.

Very very very sweet. All of the ice cream I’ve had in Mexico City has this same problem….I’m still searching for ice cream that’s not cloyingly sweet and lacking in depth of flavor and richness. Neveria Roxy had some nice flavors, and I’ll try it once more, but I have to say the sugar level is at least 30-40% higher than the sweetest American or French ice cream, and little cream to offset the intense sugar.

Decent ice cream. Not as smooth and creamy as I like it. Had quite a line though so apparently it's popular with the locals.

Ice cream shop, busy and popular with youngsters. Ice cream was fresh and good tasting. Different flavours in acceptable price. A medium scoop costs around 30 pesos. Place is clean and staff is friendly

nice place to have a cold treat after a long walk around condesa. we ordered it in barquillos and it's awesome. had the amaretto/pistachio flavor and tried the berry/guava. the staff are very friendly and the service is great! if you want to try different flavors, go with a small scoop first, we ordered a double big ones and it's too much. generous servings it is! check the place out!

They offer no tastings. The ice cream was not smooth and had ice crystals. The quality did not warrant the price. Eating ice cream should be more fun.

A can't-miss in the Condesa. Hint: The "Nieves" are sorbettos and "helados" are milk based. - Try the Zarzamora (blackberry) if you're craving a more balanced sweetness, that might even be on the "light sweet" side if you're a person that likes sweets. - Try the Maracuyá (passion fruit) if you like tangy, sour stuff. - Try the Guanábana (sourop) if you want something on the sweet side without all the sourness but still some of the tangy. The ambiance is casual and familial. You'll find parents creating memories with their smiling children. Looking around to the tables around you, you might also notice the look in the eyes of adults reliving their own childhood memories through the delicious flavors and textures from this historic ice cream shop.
