★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have immensely enjoyed our stay at Newport House. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the house cleaning has been great. The location is off the busy 5 Ave strip, but only 1 block away, which lends local and more authentic places to eat nearby! The rooms are spotless, modern, fully equipped and very comfortable for a longer stay. The rooftop pool has been our go to for afternoons and is never busy. Looking forward to coming back one day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great staff and great rooms. It was the perfect place to stay for our visit to Playa Del Carmen! Very close to the beach and tourist areas (5 minute walk) while also close to non tourist areas as well (10 minute walk to grocery store). There is also a nice pool on top of the hotel that the kids lived. We will definitely stay again when we come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel was such a nice surpise for us. It is close to Quinta Avenida but at the end of it and this makes the area more quiet. It is a beautiful new hotel, very clean, modern and the rooms have everything that you need (very comfortable beds!).
The front desk is excellent and knowledgeable plus willing to provide with lots of insights. Greetings to Jaki and Elva!
The rooftop pool is such a nice area for relaxing after a long day. They can provide daily, for free, towels for the pool or beach.
The beach is near but crowded and noisy. We spent two afternoons at Kool Beach where we payed 900 pesos for two (from this money you can order food and drinks). If you need something more quiet take a taxi or a bike and go to Playa Esmeralda, it is very near, around 3 km. The water is calmer, cleaner, you can find facilities there or you can bring your own umbrella etc.

This place was a major surprise, clean, beautiful, kitchenware available, good location.
But the superstar is Juan, he worked the front desk and singlehandedly made sure Newport House is my favorite place to stay in Playa.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent stay, Newport House is a great place to stay in Playa, away from the busy areas but very convenient location close to 5th and the beach. Service is very profesional and kind and the units at property are clean and carefully designed. The roof top has beds and a small pool perfect for lounging and refreshing. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Newport House Playa is a great, quiet, clean place to stay when in Playa del Carmen. It offers exceptional value, has a simple check in/check out process and the front desk staff really go above and beyond to offer suggestions to help make your stay in P.D.C and surrounding area comfortable. Very walkable- 5th avenue (the nice, less touristy portion) is ony a couple of blocks away. If you want the beach, it is also walkable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a gem! Great location, friendly staff. We got the Premium apartment which was plenty of space and really cute - decorated really nice, great big and comfy beds, blackout blinds etc. Wifi is great and room also lends itself well for working. Roof was also really nice and comfortable only 2 cons are 1. Wifi on the roof isn't great - hard to work up there if you need to work otherwise not a big deal 2. we were facing 44th street and it's a little noisy - there are dogs barking all night long. I sleep with earplugs but it could still hear the dogs. Other than that I still highly recommend and would come back! Thank you for a great stay!
