N	Natalia Achtabowska on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice restaurant with a good atmosphere, smell of burning wood and not to loud music. Ceviche with passion fruit salsa was one of the best I've ever eaten :) My rib eye steak was full of taste, the meat was tender and juicy. Red wine was good as well but they served it in ambient temperature (much more than 25 C) which was not the best idea :) They should improve a bit the service: wine was served when we were in the middle of our steaks, they forgot to bring us one starter. Chocolate dessert was OK but the drink with kombucha... amazing! The drink forrest spritz was nice but in my opinion too bland.

They put too much salt in the steak though, and especially in the stuffed Portobello, need to dial back on that heavy handed salt crushing. Ribeye was not stellar in terms of meat but would still give 5 stars and 100% recommend. Even 5 star places can improve somewhere :)

Upon arrival there was wait time but not over 30 minutes. My 4 year old felt asleep as we waited and the staff went above and beyond finding us a seat close to a couch where my son could sleep while we had dinner. Jesus was phenomenal! You MUST try this place.

A	Ann Green on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing food and experience from start to finish. We had great cocktails and ordered the tuna and the filet. Both were delicious with fresh flavors. Probably my favorite meal I’ve had in Mexico so far!
O	Oliver Plank on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decided to go to Nixtamal restaurant, because of the very interesting menu. Really nice ideas of mixing ingredients, fruits, and spices. We were not disappointed, although the mains were not really hot Anymore. But taste was very good. What could be improved, is the service. Fancy idea to have stuff running around with walkie talkie, but is it making the service better? We waited about 15 min after we looked in the menu before someone came and took our order. Wine, you have to refill by your own. And after finishing the plate, it takes a while, until the responsible waiter comes to clean the table. In the mean time, 5 others passed by without showing any interest of removing the empty plates. If you like to be a great restaurant, this must get better. Thanks anyway for the tasty experience!

The portions are quite decent and the service is perfect. They even made some music and a great dessert as a birthday gift. Thank you for this great dinner we had at your place! :-) Highly recommend to go there when you visit Bacalar!
P	Pierre Champigny on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing steak and seafood restaurant. I ordered a medium porterhouse and it was tender and done perfectly. The flavours are excellent, the service is beyond excellent and the ambiance makes you want to stay there even after your done your meal. My niece had the tenderloin and my wife salmon and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal, everything was delicious. I have been travelling through Mexico for 3 months and I think this is one the best restaurants I have been to in all of Mexico.
