Totally empty at 1pm on a Sunday but there was a big fiesta outside and so this was a welcome oasis. The Cerviche hadn’t had long enough to cook the salmon but was tasty and fresh. The fish tacos were generously filled and better. Decent fresh limonada too. I’d like to revisit when it had more ambience

Understated excellence - must visit in SMA We had a fantastic evening at Nomada. This restaurant is innovative, refreshing and delivers flavour in every detail of their food. I had the taster menu of 6 courses and the alcohol pairing. I have to say that that the alcohol pairing was the best value I have ever had anywhere in the world; 3 wines, 2 cocktails and an IPA for 200$ represents outstanding value for money for perfectly matched and high quality drinks. Course 1 - Peanut butter and beetroot. What an ingenious match! This was probably the most surprising and clever dish of all, absolutely delicious and balanced. The IPA was a perfect accompaniment. Course 2 - Pastor cauliflower. Crunchy, well seasoned, subtle and paired with a rose that eased from fruity to a dry finish. Course 3 - Sope with grasshopper. A classic Mexican antojito and executed well. Probably the least creative course but served with a sensational medical and guayaba cocktail that I loved. Course 4 - Mushroom risotto with truffle. This was their signature dish and absolutely deserved to be a stalwart. Rich, creamy and complex. The standout dish. Couldn’t have tasted better, I am still dreaming about this dish! Paired with a delicious dry rose from the Valle de Guadeloupe. Course 5 - Seabass. Slowcooked (the waitress explained the cooking process but I’ve forgotten) and finished with a blowtorch, the fish was perfectly cooked. It fell apart and the citrous tomatillo jus was delicious. My only complaint was that it was overly salty and this become overwhelming as I ate. The more acidic white from the Valle de Parras that came with it paired excellently again. Course 6 - Churro, avocado, chocolate, raspberry. A delight to eat; rich creamy chocolate and avocado with a crunchy churro and acidity from the raspberry to cut through the sweetness. Paired with a carajillo and what’s not to like! A great end to a special meal. Atmosphere - we have no idea why but it was very quiet and we were the only people left there after a group left shortly after we arrived. This place deserves recognition at a much greater scale as it at least equals or surpasses any of the other multiple top class restaurants (think Quintonil, Maximo Bistrot, Aperi) we have eaten at in SMA and across Mexico. The great thing that comes with a lack of recognition was excellent personalised service. When we return to SMA, it may just be to eat here again. Thank you Nomada for a never to be forgotten experience.

Went for the tasting menu, which was great, but the a la carte items we had we're very spicy and delicious. The chef and staff were very welcoming. I enjoyed the modern courtyard ambiance.

A great meal at Nomada! Arrived at 2pm for lunch to an empty restaurant, by the end of our meal the restaurant was full. By luck we arrived on a Wednesday for the much famed degustation menu and it was a delight. Our favourite dish was what I’d call Mexico on a plate - huitlacoche, grass hoppers, cactus and grilled avocado on a delicious mole. Suspect dish was the pasta and mussels - mussels over cooked and so was the pasta however the sauce was great! All of the other dishes were awesome. Overall a great find and perhaps the cheapest degustation around at $500 Mex each.

Beautiful lunch - gorgeous ambiance, and love the playlist. The esquites and sabulte were both fresh, complex and the perfect size for lunch. Food came quick and service was great!

Horrible rude service from when we walked in. No attention given. Waiter comes up throws the digital menu down and walks away not even acknowledging us or asking us if we wanted anything. We decided to leave and not eat there after rude and bad service. The staff is costing this place money and need to be trained to receive people properly.

This is a fantastic restaurant. Drinks are fantastic--the hibiscus salt on the rim. Appetizers excellent. We had the ribs and fish--both awesome. Don't miss this place.

I love this restaurant, I eat here many times, the local Sav Blanc wine is delicious, the staff are great and the location is so perfect, although there is a tasting menu I prefer to order from the menu. The Tuna Tostada is stunning and the Grilled Caesar salad is beautiful. I agree with other reviewers the music is so nice, modern local renditions of old favorites help to create a relaxing ambiance.
