★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Estación de la línea 2 del metro. Se inauguró el 14 de septiembre de 1970. El nombre de la estación se debe a la cercanía con la Benemérita Escuela Nacional de Maestros. También es un referente histórico pues el 10 de junio de 1971, a casi un año de su inauguración, fue escenario de la Matanza de Corpus en la cual murieron estudiantes universitarios en manos de un grupo paramilitar conocido como "Los Halcones" enviados por el gobierno para reprimir los movimientos estudiantiles de la época.
 Subway line 2 station. It was inaugurated on September 14, 1970. The name of the station is due to its proximity to the Benemérita National School of Teachers. It is also a historical reference because on June 10, 1971, almost a year after its inauguration, it was the scene of the Corpus Massacre in which university students died in the hands of a paramilitary group known as "The Falcons" sent by the government to repress the student movements of the time.

El personal de taquillas te atiende bien, no te avientan los boletos; estación limpia y el personal de seguridad de la Policía Auxiliar y Bancaria son amables y si les preguntas algo saben responder adecuadamente. No se permite el ingreso a personas que no porten su cubrebocas y/o mascarilla. Es una estación de gran demanda, hay horarios de gran afluencia en ella por las escuelas cercanas a ésta.
Subway station, with entrance for wheelchairs and other people with disabilities. The ticket office staff takes good care of you, they don't throw your tickets; Clean station and the security personnel of the Auxiliary and Banking Police are friendly and if you ask them something they know how to respond adequately. The entry is not allowed to people who do not wear their face mask and / or mask. It is a station of great demand, there are hours of great affluence in it by the schools near it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Está bien ubicado junto al Poli y el Circuito Interior pero la máquina de tarjetas da tarjetas con saldo de un solo viaje. Yo deposité 50 pesos pero sólo pude viajar una vez.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El lugar afuera del metro Normal es un caos, como se están haciendo remodelaciones afuera del metro en la calle México -Tacuba en la avenida se hace mucho tráfico, mucha movilizaciones ya que es un punto céntrico para llegar al Centro de la Ciudad de México.
El lugar hay muchos puestos de comida, botanas, de accesorios tanto de mujer como de hombre, puestos de revistas, etc.
También eh visto que es un lugar muy recurrente ya que hacen entregas de productos por motivos de la Contingencia y seguridad.
Hoy fui a medio día y se veía más o menos de personas.????

Se encuentra la escuela Benemérita Escuela Normal de Maestros, junto a un acceso al Metro Normal, fue colocada la escultura monumental de 15 metros de altura de Sebastián que representa la sangre derramada de los mexicanos, en homenaje a los estudiantes caídos durante la matanza del Jueves de Corpus Christi el 10 de junio de 1971, cuando el movimiento estudiantil fue violentamente reprimido por el grupo paramilitar conocido como “Los Halcones”.
