I rented a bike two times. It was easy to rent. Your passport as a deposit or you pay a fee if you don't want to leave it with them. People working there are polite and speak English. Their bikes have gears(3) and honestly I felt I was rather slow with either of them. In the heat, it can be challenging.

What a relief! This is a great drama-free option for renting a bicycle. The bikes are much more sturdy. A huge plus is that the bikes have a light.

Don’t think twice, Tulum is a very beautiful city that needs to be visited by renting bikes. The thing that you need to know is that in most places renting bikes, the bikes don’t have breaks. These bikes have breaks, are in excellent condition and even have night lights. The price for a day is 150 pesos ( ~ 7.5 usd) which is really affordable. This is the place to go for renting a bike.

Bikes were great! $150 pesos for 12 hours. There was a place further down for $100, but the deposit was $500 and we were limited on cash for the day. We rode 12 miles and while we are exhausted, we Would rent again!! Location was also super easy! We shopped and ate dinner after dropping the bikes off.

The bikes are in a pretty bad shape. We swapped the first one with a broken pedal just to get one with a broken gear. We didn’t really have big expectations towards rental bikes but these were by far the worst we’ve ever rented. We thought about renting them for two days but returned them after one day. Be aware that there’s no refund (tried to get back the money for the second day but no chance).

It’s kind of expensive for what we got. For the price we paid renting a bike for 3 days we could have bought a better one in better shape. My bike had no gears and no bell while the bike of my girlfriend had gears but it was impossible to change them.

150 pesos for 12 hours and 200 for 24. You can pay by credit card. The bikes do have front and rear lights but beware that most bikes are pretty worn. Like VERY worn. We ended up with a bike with no rear light which is not good in Tulum during nighttime. The other bike’s rear brakes stopped working while we were riding it. We mentioned this at the reception and came back two days later for another round of rentals only to find out that they had not fixed anything. We then looked for the two best bikes among 15 bikes and found out that none of them had both decent brakes and lights. I asked the receptionist if they ever fix their bikes and she said that they do but they obviously don’t and keep renting out fairly dangerous bikes. Not recommended. The good thing is that these bike actually do have lights unlike most other bikes in Tulum - and, trust me, you don’t want to ride a bike without during nighttime.

These bikes are evil little things with poor geometry that won't steer straight unless you keep on it and they weigh a ton. Most, maybe all have faults of one sort or another. On the plus side they have regular lever brakes, not back pedal and not fixie; they have three gears (though neither of our bikes gears worked), a basket, a bell and lights. The saddle height is easily adjustable and the tyres were good. All in all, good enough but not fun to ride.
