Once you send it, they take about 4 days to respond by giving you an appointment. It was my turn yesterday, May 3. I arrived about 10 minutes before the indicated time. There were about 4 people ahead of me, I waited no more than 15 minutes when they passed me. In a first desk I delivered the impression of the mail where they gave me the appointment. From there I went to the window, which, due to a pandemic and to prevent crowds, only has one open. There I delivered my original documents and the young man who received them sealed them in less than 2 minutes. He handed them over to me and that's it. In less than 20 minutes I got out of there with the procedure completed. I would give it 5 stars because once you have an appointment and enter, the process takes minutes, BUT nobody answers the emails and there is no one who answers the phone to answer questions. When I went they said that the emails are answered in 10 business days and it was just the time it took them to respond to me. They open 9am. Many people went without an appointment because they take years to respond to emails and everyone had doubts ... I do not recommend that they go without an appointment, they all seemed not to let them pass until they had the appointment with the pre-registration number that they send by email. - It is a free procedure, they do not charge you, in my case I only needed to bring my INE, the document to sign / legalize and that's it.

Just today, February 28, 2022, I received the response email from the Institution and they scheduled it for the first week of March. I sent my email on February 10. I share this with you so that you don't get desperate like me, and I recommend that you send two emails, one on one date and the second a couple of days later in case the institution doesn't get to receive its first email.
