★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best car rental company! We spent a few hours trying to find a car rental company (as we had read terrible stories about renting from the likes of Europcar etc). Nuu Kava were so helpful, easy and efficient. The pricing is good and it was a pleasure hiring through them. HIGHLY recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great experience with this rental company and definitely recommend it. It was walking distance from our hotel in the Centro. The business is very friendly, very clear with pricing, and accommodating to our schedule. Great customer service all around. The rental car was clean and in good condition. We drove it all around Oaxaca state over a 10 day period. It’s a small business and we felt like if anything were to go wrong (which it didn’t) they would be there to help us out. Originally we were going to rent with Alamo but after reading horror stories about the experiences that other travelers had with Alamo cars and customer service, we went with Nuu Kava and were very happy with our decision.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked this company based on google reviews. I am here to say they did a wonderful job start to finish! I couldn’t be happier. They were honest, thorough, and friendly. The process was quick and easy. They verrrry thoroughly check your vehicle at pick up and drop off. Very, very thoroughly. This company has an eye for detail and it shows. I will absolutely book again. I wouldn’t even consider trying another location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I always hate renting cars because of the endless sales tactics and dirty tricks. The people at Ñuu Kava however were very helpful and relaxed. No tiresome sales talks, just honest explanations about the contract and insurance. Also, the deal they offered was much better than the big international rentals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible experience. I reserved an automatic car for 1/21 on 1/12 and when we arrived they didn't have it. I was even messaging them days leading up to our rental date and they made it seem like everything was cool. We had a tour scheduled for 11 (was supposed to get the car at 9:30) and we were an hour late for it because of this. They barely gave us a discount for our troubles, 50 pesos $2.50 USD. Horrible service, no apology. go anywhere else to rent your vehicles. I see in another review they responded saying they gave a better car. That's not the point. I didn't want a better car. I wanted the car we reserved ON TIME! I don't care how nice the car is because that's not what I reserved.
UPDATE:
As you can tell from their response, they are not apologetic at all for not having a car we reserved two weeks in advance. Not apologetic at all that we had to wait an hour and a half after our reservation time to get a car which made us in turn late to a tour we had paid for. DO BETTER.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Showed up and they didn’t even have an automatic available even though we explicitly stated this in the request 2 weeks in advance. Highly recommend going with someone else if you have plans and need reliable transportation.
Editing the review to respond to the owner: it would have been nice if we got what we signed up for on time. We were told a car would be ready at 9:30, it wasn’t ready until 11. Irrespective of what kind of upgrade you provided, we still missed our scheduled itinerary because, as you admit, you didn’t provide the service we requested well in advance. If that’s your definition of “high end” then hopefully future customers are now aware

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rented 3 weekends in a row. Service was great, no hassle, and easy to book. They also opened late on Sundays which made the car return that much more convenient...
We did quite a bit of research and they were by far the most affordable and it also includes insurance.
Yamilette was easy to communicate with and she spoke great English.
On our last weekend's rental, the car broke down before we got it. They rented from another company just to make sure we had a car.
Definitely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good company to rent a car with. Friendly service and it was no problem i couldnt speak Spanish, English was fine. We did a daytrip with the rental car to Hierve el Agua and they gave us the right directions.
(There is a 10.000 peso deposit in case anything would happen, when you bring the rental back you get the deposit back, only costs 2 peso’s. No panic if this takes 2 days, I had the same, its because my Dutch bank took some time to proces the refund, the rentalcompany undoes the deposit right when you return the car)
