OCEAN VIEW APARTMENT - 77500 Cancún

We booked the room in the evening, around 8pm and requested a late check in. The owner responded demanding a charge of 75% the cost of a full night in return. We refused and asked to cancel the reservation (less than an hour after booking). The owner then ignored the request and Booking.com support claimed they had no power to help. So we had to find somewhere else to stay yet still paid the full 2 nights stay. Utter scam of a hotel. Awful, awful experience.

Perfection! Thank you Andrea! My husband and l had a most wonderful stay. Our spotless beautifully appointed apartment was a beach front corner room with all new amenities. The views of the sea and beach were spectacular. The apartment building is intimate, a friendly, helpful staff friendly and the clientele diverse and of all ages. We would highly recommend the Ocean View Apartments and hope we have the opportunity to return. :)

Complete SCAM, avoid at all cost, read the comments with one star, I didn't believe it until I was there and they wanted to charge us 20% more of the initial price, we had to cancel, lost our deposit and had to book for the same day somewhere else for a better price and way better rooms.

HUGE SCAM !! Don't gooo!!! They robbed us our deposit, they LIED about the room (photos are lies) and they charged us more money for the room! Seriously, worst experience I had and those people, so RUDE, just terrible scammers !! Shame on them!

This place is a complete SCAM. I booked a reservation through Booking.com. When I got there, they had the WRONG room ready. I told them that I booked a different room, and they said there was nothing they could do. I know Spanish, however, and understood that they did have rooms available but didn't want to give me one. They finally gave me a room with the bed setup, however it was much smaller than the one I reserved. When I went to pay, they again charged 20% more than the price of the room, even though the pricing was set through Booking.com. Room service barged in without knocking. If that wasn't enough, they then claimed that my card was declined in Booking so I was unable to leave a review at Booking.com.

They didn’t return 150$ deposit. It’s been almost one month since I check out from there. Nobody answers. This place is literally the dirtiest I ever stayed, hair in bathroom…. Very dirty floor and chairs on the balcony. View was really beautiful.

Fantastic!! I will definitely be back!! Veronica is an absolute sweetheart! A beautiful person inside and out. I originally booked for 3 nights in a nice room on the lower floor with an amazing panoramic view right on the water, with a breathtaking view of the beach and ocean, I was very happy with it! On my second day Veronica contacted me. she completely surprised me, and wanted to upgrade my room for me at no charge…. the room she upgraded me to was absolutely gorgeous, with an even better view on a higher floor! I loved it so much I felt truly spoiled, taken care of, and she made my vacation here very special and I’ll never forget it. I was so happy with the new room I decided to extend my stay for the remainder of my vacation in Cancun for an extra 4 nights! They also arranged for my taxi to the airport with a very nice young man Miguel, contacted me to arrange and he met me at the room, helped me bring my luggage down, it went very smoothly. he is a very kind and personable guy! I really appreciate him getting me to the airport safely, on time, and in good company, also his car was very comfortable and clean too, which was a huge bonus! Thank you so much to everyone at ocean view for making my stay comfortable, safe, and an unforgettable vacation! If you decide to stay at ocean view make sure you checkout Navios seafood restaurant it’s about a 5 min walk from the hotel, amazing food, beautiful setup and atmosphere!

We only stayed there one night, it was perfect for that. Close to the airport, easy check in process. Don't use their safe's. They are old and outdated, with no instructions and they don't have the master keys. My friend put her passport in the safe and we were not able to retrieve it and they didn't have the master key for it so we had to wait till the next morning for them to send someone to break the safe and get the passport out. And the manager that showed up tried to blame it on the poor lady that works there and was helping us saying that she should have explained operating the safe in the room and took no accountability for the fact they did not have the master key.
