★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Right on the malecon, Oceano Azul is definitely a place to visit. We were waited on by 3 people and one was the owner. Recommendations were made and we went with that. We started with Margaritas and guacamole and chips and salsa. Excellent!! Our main dishes were Coconut Shrimp, and shrimp and cheese burger. My coconut shrimp was perfect. The breading was fresh coconut which was very tasty and crunchy. There was a mango dipping sauce which had a sweet taste to compliment the shrimp. Oceano Azul is on the beach with an excellent view where we were able to watch the whales jump out of the water. The only down fall was cloth table coverings, which were not changed. I recommend paper placemats.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice restaurant that extends on to the proper beach. Prices for beer are good, for food reasonable, especially considering the other restaurants around the area.
Closes fairly early, but good spot to watch sunset, have a drink and some food. Staff are very nice. Cash only - but so many things are.
