★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having dinner here as a big group was a great experience. The waiter/chef/owner was the sweetest EVER and he made sure we were super well taken care of. So attentive. Also the food was delicious, great tacos and best aguachile I’ve had. Definitely recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Favourite restaurant after three weeks in Puerto. Dishes are simple yet exciting. Chef/owner very kind and curious of customer experience. Clearly a sophisticated and talented foodie. First time I’ve had a fried peanut and chili hot sauce - delicious and interesting. Fine gastronomic experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely worth the trip beyond the busier part of Zicatela to this small restaurant - we went on a quiet Monday evening for dinner and the food and staff were amazing. Would highly recommend sampling a variety of the dishes on offer here: we had shrimp/fish tacos, poke bowl, sashimi & ceviche - all excellent!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for lunch. It’s in a less touristy area of the beach, but was worth the walk! Had the aguachiles (shrimp was super fresh, tasted like it was caught that morning) and fish tacos, both were great. Best culinary quality meal I’ve had at Zicatela

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You might miss Ocho if you're walking the streets of Zicatela, but I assure you, it's one of the best restaurants in the area. We had almost everything on the menu, and each dish was perfection. The meal was made better by the overall ambiance. The owner and chef made us feel right at home and made sure we were satisfied with every dish. Ocho is laid back but still intentional with everything they do. I will think about our evening there for a long time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the best restaurants in Puerto Escondido. Good breakfast and the most amazing 5 course New Years Eve meal ever. they even shared their giant sparklers with us to bring the new year. The owners are amazing down to earth people. I unfortunately didn’t get their names or if I did I forgot, too much mezcal!!! but seriously go there at least for one meal. It’s worth it!!!
