El Nayar es un conjunto de cerros de más de 2,000 metros de altura, se puede ver con mucha suerte venados, armadillos, conejos, tejones y gran cantidad de aves. Sus lugareños se caracterizan por sus coloridos trajes, música, danzas y rituales que hasta aún siguen estando en sus costumbres y tradiciones. En medio de esta sierra se localizan asentamientos indígenas como los Coras y Tepehuanos.
