Facilities in very good condition for camps. Perfect command track. Tasty and filling food. Green areas well maintained.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Guau! Me contaron de una grata experiencia aqui un familiar. Recuerdo la hacienda y las ruinas alla por 1982 pues vivi cerca de la presa, lado este. Aun vive familia de mi papa alli y en Parritas. No sabia ke lo habian transformado en esto. Llevare a toda la ?..Si Señor!
Wow! A relative told me about a pleasant experience here. I remember the hacienda and the ruins there around 1982 because I lived near the dam, on the east side. My father's family still lives there and in Parritas. I did not know what they had transformed into this. I'll take the whole ?..Yes sir!

Excellent place to camp has rooms in individual cabins, dining rooms, courts, pool, etc. and large expanse of field for walks, very beautiful farm ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can’t stress enough how beautiful and “summery” this place is right now.
This is my fourth year coming here since 2017, and I can’t believe how much it changed after the pandemic. In 2019 I left Ojo Ciego remembering it as dessert like place, but when we arrived in 2021, WOW. It literally flowered, the place was green, and full of life. It really showed how beautiful this place is.
Every single place where I interacted, from the entrance to the dining hall, I was impressed by the practicality of it. It impressively works for every single activity that we had in mind.
The shacks are perfectly positioned, behind the Office and the Sport Area. And they have mattresses and pillows and sheets.
The food. I can’t say enough of it. It is just delicious, from the creative desserts to the delicious and flavorful juices. The food at Ojo Ciego is just amazing, no regrets and no complaints.
The chapel is beautiful, even though it is already showing its years, its still beautiful.
The only things to keep in mind, when heavy rains come, some shacks have minor leaks. Also there is no signal, so communication to the outside is a little bit stressful. And PLEASE use repellent and sunscreen, we’d lots of problems because of the lack of use of those products.
Overall I am in love with that place, and yearn my return to it next year. As it has always been after a wonderful summer camp with Club Arawaks.
