★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service good, lots to choose, the 3 sushi rolls were fresh and tasted like they should. I would eat there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent roll spot in Tlayacapan
Both vegetarian rolls are great. Range 95 pesos
Everything is fresh and they give generous amount of ginger and wasabi—staff was attentive and kind

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I ordered two bowls of udon soup. After 15 minutes or more, one bowl was brought to the table. After another ten minutes or so I had to ask where my soup was. Another fifteen+ minute wait, what. Well the soup had udon noodles. Beyond that, it was nothing like what udon soup should be. Disappointing in all regards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awful...
If you're going to have a sushi restaurant and charge premium prices, then at least respect the tradition enough to use proper portions of fish and rice. Instead of a 1:10 ratio of fish to rice, try aiming for a 1:1 ratio.
The vegetables weren't fresh either including brown avocado.
If you're looking for sushi from here, my suggestion would be to make it at home yourself and save yourself the disappointment.
Avoid at all costs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was disappointed in the food. The California roll was similar to the taste and texture of packaged grocery store bought sushi. The servers were very accommodating but I was surprised that wasabi had to be requested. I probably will seek out another sushi restaurant and don't think I'll be returning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never again. I should have listened to my instincts when we went smack in the middle of lunch time and there was not a soul in the place. The food was absolutely overcooked, flavorless and some of it was reheated in the microwave. We had to wait at least 20 minutes even though there was no one else there. The sauces were runny and lacked any kind of flavor. The vegetables seemed like they had already been cooked before and then were cooked again and were completely mushy. It is the worst teriyaki I've ever had and that chicken never touched an actual grill, was not marinated, etc. We could not bring ourselves to eat the rest or bring it home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice low-key Sushi joint. Decent food
Okuma is one of those stripmall sushi joint one finds all over the place.
Service is professional, food is good, and prices are fair, though the atmosphere is somewhat bland.
I'll be back next time I want some sushi.
Pro-Tip: Tuesday is Buy 1 get one 50% off day
