Olas Altas Inn Hotel & Spa - 82017 Mazatlán

One star because the location is great, the staff is beyond rude, had to ask to have our room cleaned TWICE, can’t have outside food or drinks in our room (a staff member barged into my room because I had outside food, and started yelling at me) we were never told we couldn’t bring outside food or drinks, we also did not get the room we asked for which we booked a MONTH in advance, we were told we could get one the next day when a room opened up. It’s day 3 we’ve asked everyday and still haven’t gotten the room we were booked for. You have to pay for pool towels, there’s absolutely no parking at all, the beds are full sized NOT QUEEN, and the only good part about the hotel is the outside bar, bar staff was so nice and the drinks were great. You only get one room key, which also is used to stay in the slot to keep the electricity going which means after being out all day you come back to a warm room. We have literally been begging the hotel staff for the room we booked and have been told there are none available. I’m so disappointed in this and hate to write a review like this, but I’ve been looking forward to this trip for months and this is a real bummer. *** our fan also broke, throwing a piece of the fan across the room at 4am*** we asked everyday we’ve been here for the room we asked for, been told there isn’t any available. So we called to see if there were any beach front rooms available which we reserved a month in advance for and we’re told they had one available but when we went to the front desk they said there were none available. Not mad at all just disappointed that we have been saving up for this trip and were expecting so much better.

Spacious room and restaurant attach, pool with the bar for whatever you drink

Our reservations was for two rooms with double beds on both rooms but when we check-in they gave us what they want and also we wanted the rooms with ocean view. Nothing what we have reserved we were so disappointed and not happy with this hotel I Will not recommend ? this place to no body ? ? ?

The hotel is not bad, but the people are the rudest I have ever come across and I stay in a lot of hotels Natalie and Hugo should look for other employment and the rule that no cooler boxers are allowed especially when the bar fridge are out because of COVID-19, so how do u keep water cold in 40 degree weather, unless u buy in the shop they have which is always closed, just a money making scheme, personally avoid this hotel and look for something different…. They where also supposed to offer something special as it was our 20th anniversary…. What a joke…

Good service, great food, awesome prices

Be VERY CAREFUL of this hotel.. I was testing a credit card for reservation and the hotel charged the card immediately and will not return the amount charged (Fraud?). extremely HORRIBLE customer service. employees rude and unknowledgeable !!!

Good value for the price. Nice to have pool and restaurant/bar there. Attentive and pleasant staff.However, getting charged at departure for the coffee packets supplied in the room? Never seen that anywhere before. Left a bad taste in my mouth, like the cheap coffee itself

Canadians with an infant toodler and grandparents traveling with little to no spanish language skills. Views are amazing and so is the staff. Restaurant downstairs is really good. We ate everything on the menu because we stayed for a week. Adrian was amazing and an excellent server. Check it was long, pool is freezing, rooms are decent if you get the 5th floor suites. Keys always needed to be reset which meant waiting in yet another line and going back up the tiny elevator. Bathroom light is motion detection which is so annoying especially with kids and the door squeaked, traffic is loud but worth every moment for the view.
