Watch out! We purchased a watch for US$27,000 from this store. Their credit card machine was faulty; therefore, they arranged to charge our credit card through their head office in Mexico City. They guaranteed this will not create any conflict in receiving the VAT refund. We applied for the VAT refund at the tax department upstairs; however, the OMEGA store is NOT ready to provide them the actual receipt since the transaction was done through another cite remotely. They have not been cooperating and are not ready to reimburse us the taxes that we have already paid. My husband and I have been going back and forth with them since last November. They kept asking for more documents and we responded appropriately to move forward and make the process as smooth as possible. However, during our last conversation, we were notified that they are not able to process the payment. Their unacceptable and unethical behaviour caused my husband a lot of anxiety and emotional distress. They did not treat us with high level of integrity. They do not show concerns for their customers. They do not demonstrate trust and respect. They are very dishonest and do not strive for fairness. They do not care for their customers’ satisfaction. Avoid at all costs!!
