★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing. One of the best (if not THE BEST) dinner we’ve had in Mexico. Fish tacos, tuna salad, and coconut shrimps - all equally delicious! Must visit when you’re in Tulum! Also, nice vibe and great people working here :)

The waiters are full of energy and really make this place’s energy!
Drinks are presented beautifully as is the food.
Couldn’t ask for much more.

Chicken Chilaquiles with green sauce for breakfast along with the best cappuccino I’ve had in Mexico ❤️ Plus incredible staff, our waiter chatted with us before our food got out and had great recommendations for the area. All around AMAZING place, I’d highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 10000/10 would recommend this restaurant. It’s got very chill vibes with good music but not too loud that you can’t enjoy the company of your friends to chat and converse. The ambience is so beautiful with dimmed lighting and candles and a cute bar in the back. The food is of course why this place gets 5 stars. It was spectacular. HIGHLY recommend the onyx burger. It was possibly the best burger I’ve ever eaten in my life. Our server Eddie was fast, responsive, charismatic and friendly. He was the only server but we never felt forgotten. He made our experience at the restaurant complete with amazing service and good vibes. If you visit Tulum. You won’t be disappointed by this little hidden gem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Words cannot describe the food here. This was honestly the best dishes I've ever eaten in the whole of Mexico. The shrimp tacos were exceptional... the vegetable burrito was a revelation and I have no idea what was in the cocktails they made us... but they blew my mind!
Cannot recommend it highly enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Onyx was the fine dining experience of our trip, and it was great. The owner, Carlos, was kind enough to introduce himself and make us feel welcome. Drinks were amazing! The fruity margarita is the best. Highly recommend the steak bowl with frites for your meal. The coconut shrimp was a little undercooked, so wouldn’t order that again. With dessert, we also got a show! Be careful if you don’t like alcohol taste in your dessert as it’s very strong. We regret not having enough time to dine here again and try more things.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came to Onyx after some Google searches for good casual food/drink spots in the Tulum Centro area and SO glad we did — 10/10 would recommend. It’s a newer spot in the area but the vibes and service were perfection. We got a few different margaritas and all of them were delicious - great food portions as well - shrimp tempura tacos were FRESH and perfectly breaded. Vibes are super laid back for any time of day to sit, suit and enjoy the music. Our server Eddie was super helpful, friendly, and checked on us consistently to make sure we were enjoying things. Definitely would come back here !
