א	אופק לוי on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ לצערי הגעתי לחדר ולא היה חשמל או מים במקום, אפילו שהזמנתי חדר פרטי. ביום ההגעה לא היה אף אחד שיקבל את פניי ואפילו לא הייתה קיימת קבלה או שירות לקוחות מסוים. חיכיתי בערך שעתיים עד שיתקנו את החשמל, ואת המים לא תקנו בכלל. נשארתי בחדר רק עד שיגיע הבוקר והחלפתי הוסטל. האירוע החיובי היחיד שהיה הוא שקיבלתי החזר כספי מלא. Unfortunately I got to the room and there was no electricity or water in the place, even though I booked a private room. On the day of arrival there was no one to greet me and there was not even a particular reception or customer service. I waited about two hours until they fixed the electricity, and the water was not fixed at all. I stayed in the room only until morning came and changed hostel. The only positive event that was was that I got a full refund.
M	Mariluz Rodriguez on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El hotel muy económico excelente relación calidad -precio , los camarotes o literas son muy limpios los baños son excelentes la privacidad en las habitaciones compartidas es muy buena aseo en general impecable el personal es muy amable , la comida no es muy buena pero el hotel es excelente lo recomiendo 100% el diseño de toda la estructura es muy bonito ! The hotel is very economical, excellent value for money, the cabins or bunk beds are very clean, the bathrooms are excellent, the privacy in the shared rooms is very good, cleanliness in general, impeccable, the staff is very friendly, the food is not very good, but the hotel is excellent I recommend it 100% the design of the entire structure is very beautiful!
K	Katharina Engel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich verstehe die negativen Bewertungen hier überhaupt nicht. Das Hostel war sauber, das Personal freundlich, das Frühstück lecker und für Tulum Preise günstig. Neben dem Hostel ist direkt ein Fahrradverleih und man kann direkt zum Strand laufen (3min). Auch der ist super schön! I don't understand the negative reviews here at all. The hostel was clean, the staff friendly, the breakfast delicious and cheap for Tulum prices. Next to the hostel is a bike rental and you can walk directly to the beach (3 minutes). It's also very beautiful!
S	Siam Diaz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lugar muy económico y bien ubicado en la zona hotelera de Tulum, ideal para ahorrar dinero al visitar la Rivera Maya. Lamentablemente este tiene algunos serios problemas, que al leer los demás comentarios me di cuenta que suelen ser recurrentes. No había agua en los baños y no muy higiénicos, el piso estaba sucio, pocos casilleros para guardar cosas y muy pequeños (solo cabe una mochila de 20 L) se deben rentar los candados si no tienes. No dan sábanas, ni toallas, tener esto en consideración. No recomendable si buscas comodidad absoluta. Very cheap place and well located in the hotel zone of Tulum, ideal to save money when visiting the Rivera Maya. Unfortunately this one has some serious problems, which when reading the other comments I realized that they tend to be recurrent. There was no water in the bathrooms and not very hygienic, the floor was dirty, few lockers to store things and very small (only fits a 20 L backpack) locks must be rented if you do not have them. They do not give sheets or towels, take this into consideration. Not recommended if you are looking for absolute comfort.

Jamás había ido a un hostal que no diera sábanas. Buena ubicación,no lo recomiendo. Espero mejoren. Good price for being Tulum, however when I went there was no water in the bathrooms, the floor was covered in sand and the worst thing is that they didn't even provide sheets to sleep on! I had never been to a hostel that didn't provide sheets. Good location, I do not recommend it. I hope they improve.
A	April Lynn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hostel also has a location downtown and they just opened a week ago on Tulum Beach. We did not stay at the hostel but they're downtown location has great reviews. We stopped in for a late breakfast. We were immediately welcomed and given a seat. The coffee is WONDERFUL, as is the breakfast. We had avocado toast, eggs, and Mexican eggs. Let me tell you everything was absolutely impeccable, and the fresh bread even more so. Definitely a gem. I would love to eat here any day, and when we come back to Tulum we would love to try the hostel. Miguel, Hery, and everyone are so nice.
A	Anna on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They keep changing their name because their reviews are so bad. So here’s my review on the hostel that was recently “Mar & Carmen” but is now “Oostel smart hostel”. They are not a new hostel. It’s almost guaranteed you will get stuff stolen here! Read recent reviews for Mar & Carmen ( the original name) . The staff are super sketchy. There’s about 10-15 staff members that sit around and do nothing all day. Also if you don’t like to sleep this place is for you! The roof is not enclosed and you are right above the highway. You hear loud music until 2 am and then from 4-6 am it’s constant semi trucks. There’s a water truck that comes every other day and it sounds like it’s in your room. It pumps water extremely loud for about a half hour each time. The gas fumes from the truck fill the entire room. This is very unsafe. They don’t allow you to have the AC remote and it gets really cold. They don’t provide blankets or towels even though they are in the pictures. Literally the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in. During my stay the only other guest staying there had some valuables stolen. The beach across the street is so small that if you want some more space you have to walk 30+ minutes in either direction. Not an ideal location
